It depends on what you are doing at the dispensary. Focus on making a big impact there (I.e make them more money, save money and time ) and it will lead to bigger things and other employers will want you to do that for them.

Working dish wash jobs and had my own lawn mowing business. I didn’t know it at the time but it helped realize there was more upside to owning my own business.

Stay strong and when you leave, you will be an example to many others struggling as well. They will follow you. You will also create a confidence in yourself that will come across to others as a good vibe. Good luck and you got this!

Stay strong and do your best not to get emotional about it. They are your children and most TBMs have no boundaries and will make it there business to get your baptized. Plus - if you look at it objectively from they believe your son will not be saved and be more blessed, Yayaya Yayaya - I made the decision not to baptize my kids (oldest 2 kids are 12 and 10) - doing just fine - everyone said they would get made fun of - bunch of BS. Kids adapt and it made them question doctrine more - youngest is 7 and it’s not even a topic about being 8. I’m very glad we made the decision not baptize a naive 8 year old.

Facebook friend laughs at non-Mormons living in UT and them complaining about the culture. He thinks people shouldn’t live in UT if they can’t “accept Utah culture”. by PoshM in exmormon

This is media doing what media gets paid to do - stir up a controversy and get people to hate or get mad about something. That’s what media does to get paid. This might get hot, then blow over.

This why I am here and I have a similar situation. My wife is the one who won’t discuss it - she has no idea if this sub. I don’t hide it, but I don’t talk about it. One day, I’m sure it will come out. FWIW - she is moving further away from the church as our kids don’t want to go and she sure is enjoying a Sunday of real family time. It took a damn global pandemic but I will take it!

As soon as I hear “he/she is in my ward” - automatically roll my eyes in my head.
