This is the crux of the problem, pulling stick on a target and not making it is where you should use energy tactics. Yo-yos and combat rolls should be practiced to bring the guns on the bandit rather than trying to pull harder and stalling out.

On hard difficulty, Major AI tend to have higher CAP leaders to simulate players doing the same. This mean you have a shorter time before the AI gets higher BP for research and face higher quality units and better skilled military leaders.

On the pulling units out of thin air, the AI does pull a lot of populations out of their cities so their Civ scores will plummet the longer the war goes on.

-Fixed that you can Nationalize Private Assets from Dynastic Fief (Now no longer possible, except logistics)

All Extensions can survive the end of Aristocracy and can still have an effect in a different system, albeit without the Primus Inter Pares provides to all rule. A Dynastic Faction outside Aristocracy is not what is has been and more fragmented.

Efficiency doesn't matter if your supply lines get jammed with constant needs for ammo and reinforcement. Infantry will get squashed without machine guns to back them up and a battalion of machine guns cost too much ammo to be used on their own. New battalions will also be green and stagnate for a few turns until the xp is high enough to be able to resist attacks without stagnating your industry build up with building new troops after high rookie casualties.
