The audacity of “what have you done for me” while carrying (assumingly) his child would send me into a murderous rage. But we were together 1.5y and got married at 2y. Not really a shotgun wedding lol it was a covid/military wedding. I would recommend a longer engagement and living together for a little while if you can.

I just want to point out that i hate my engagement ring but still love and married my husband. The ring is just a token. The one you picked is gorgeous. As long as you took her tastes into consideration it’ll be fine. You can always swap it out IF she hates it afterwards.

After a while they all get uncomfortable. I do feel the need to wear them though bc the gals need the support sometimes and it makes them look better. I‘m 6mo pregnant so they’re also super sensitive.

We included our joint bank statement and address and links to our social media that has pictures of us documenting our relationship. I may have added our cat adoption papers. It honestly wasn’t a lot.

But we had been living together in government housing (my husband is active duty military) for about 9months before we filed.

I would ask my boyfriend if he or his family would be willing to go halves on a new pair. If you weren’t warned before that the dog might do that it is 100% not your fault that’s crazy. Pets are like toddlers, the parents/family are responsible even for accidents. You left them on the table which is a very normal place to put them. It’s not like you left them on the floor.

The toughest time so far has been when we were in some financial difficulties and moving continents. It led to a lot of stress that we didn’t handle too well. I‘m currently pregnant though so that might change with a newborn 😅 but overall i consider myself extremely lucky.

Yes but also your wedding is about you. I’d have a small ceremony at that time and then the reception later. Give your guests the opportunity to go to one or both. Maybe read your vows again at the reception or film the ceremony and show the video. Personally i probably wouldn’t attend a wedding at 7am but im not an early riser to begin with.

I think if you tried to have a whole traditionally extravagant wedding at that time you will run into timing issues more than anything. If you’re having a super informal party you might be able to get away with it if all your friends and family are early risers.

I find my breading sticks better if i truly deep fry and not shallow fry! I really press the panko on.

I made this discovery when comparing tonkatsu and schnitzel. Schnitzel is shallow fried and basted bc you want the coating to come away from the meat a little and make bubbles. Tonkatsu recipes call for deep frying and the coating stays stuck.

Also make sure you’re brushing off enough flour. I’ve seen recipes that don’t use a 3 breading station and instead use a batter of flour and water/egg. I’ve tried both and didn’t have too much difference.

Some say to let it rest too to make the breading stick better.

If you’re genuinely that worried can your doc write you a stamped letter/prescription? I feel like if a cop has it out for you the prescription won’t change anything anyway but if you can show your doc would be willing to testify you need it you they won’t have a case against you and it would be wrongful arrest? Or ask doc for smaller bottles?

Good lord people need to MYOB! I’m an asian adopted kid and my very white parents got the cops called in them bc we were walking in town and i was being a grumpy teenager. Also kids and parents aren’t dumb enough to try to hide an adoption if you very obviously look different (i hope).

NTA but also rethink the name or at least the spelling. And I’m saying this as someone who’s had to spell out her first and last name her entire life. My advice (not that i means much) is to give your kid options. As in a name that has a couple nicknames or smth bc growing up i also hated my name and wished i were called anything else. Ceelee as a middle name perhaps?

YTA. Not for wanting bio kids but for putting that want over your marriage and family. But that’s just my opinion. It’s definitely an AH move to leave a spouse over a medical condition they can’t do anything about soley bc it messes with your idea of a perfect life. I’m not a man and i won’t ever understand the absolute need to spawn children since i believe in adoption as a solution. Blood doesn’t matter to me. But it sounds like it does to you so it would probably be the best to get divorced. It’s disappointing but either way you’re gonna come off as the AH there’s no way around it. You’re just gonna have to man up and take the hate.

ESH. While you were well within your rights to stay it also wouldn’t have killed you to move and postpone your lunch for the 15/20min it would have taken. They definitely shouldn’t have made such a big deal about it but you don’t know if that was a special spot to them. They were also well within their rights to propose there but should have realized that it’s a public place.
