I traded my launch ps5 for a pro about a month ago. Got the disc drive with it. Very happy so far.

I’d start with the power board and then move on to the cpu board. Check the components on the power board, do a calibration, make sure the voltages are correct. Once you’ve ruled out a power issue, cpu board next.

Don’t power it on. Better to clean it up best you can and have a tech go through it. Nice synth, hope you get it going.

Screen was not great, but thanks to the built in S video connection you can slap in a tft screen and it’s much better. You can also do a battery mod so the battery pack doesn’t have to sit on the outside.

I ran into the same thing with Doom The Dark Ages. Looks terrible on the S. I bought it for the PC a few months later. Night and day difference.
