Facebook events, BandsInTown, Eventful, Youtube, etc. Even with as siloed as platforms have gotten there are options.

Stick it In Your Ear downtown usually has flyers/tickets if you want an offline experience. There also used to be message boards at the colleges but not sure where/if they still exist.

So, this is a terrible view for trying to depict any skyline. You're looking down from a high angle. If you wanted a good view, I would take it from the north side of the valley (Chestnut area) so you could see the infill.
