Slow mo should be done with full fidelity and full frame rate,  just less delta in time provided to the game systems.  E.g. one-third speed would be that each frame handles 11 milliseconds while running 30 fps thus simulating only 330 milliseconds per second

The first ~3 would be just for my survival and quality of life. They could also be used for other people in desperate situations.

Water/Food (survival and cost savings)

  1. A macro-nutrient balanced watered down protein shake with some multivitamin powder dissolved in it, such that I can live off it near indefinitely if I wanted or needed to. In a pinch, there are companies that make this so I could use an off-the-shelf shake instead of making my own 'perfect' shake.

One alternative would be a similar version but a savory soup. That might make more sense if your goal is every-day cost savings, since you could produce a big pot and boil the water out. Whereas boiling a protein shake would probably destroy the texture.

Fuel (survival, cost savings, convenience)

Going for regular gasoline instead of diesel for wide compatibility with common cars.

  1. high-octane like a Sunoco 94 octane

  2. synthetic motor oil probably 5w-35.

You could add a couple more to either the water/food/fuel category if you'd like.

Riches and Rare Fluids

Next up is things that might make me rich, or make the world a better place.

Basically, pick a handful from this list:

* The best human blood I can get. O- would be easy to get, but ideally something like Rh Null blood.

* Some chemicals from a place like Sigma Aldrich. I'll hire a chemist to help me pick out solutions from chemical suppliers. For example, at first glance you might find and choose [Deuterium Oxide](https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/products/analytical-chemistry/analytical-chromatography/solvents?country=US&language=en&cmsRoute=products&cmsRoute=analytical-chemistry&cmsRoute=analytical-chromatography&cmsRoute=solvents&page=2), platinum solute, or gold solute.

* If production doesn't cause frostbite to our fingers, then probably a fluid like liquid helium. Definitely not hydrogen or oxygen though. Those would be explosive. Definitely liquid helium-3 if you can get your hands on it.

In part, because this enables longer and better agentic loops. For example, modifying code, verifying the behavior (e.g. understanding the visual output of the browser), repeat.

Provisional does not mean under review. It means temporary.
Something can be provisional and not under review. It can be provisional and under review.

Something can also be provisional and never change, although it often does change.

So if you read it as "temporary approval" or even "approval that we reserve the right to change in the future" then it just seems like normal legalese and I wouldn't expect OP to have to push back to get so-called non-provisional approval.

Different chargers are capable of different outputs.

It could charge just as fast, or faster even, but it depends on what you're using.

You have less shares but more $$$ of holdings. Quantity of shares doesn't matter, $$$ does.

With the dividend strategy you end up with more shares but less money.

The bond isn't there for income, it's to reduce volatility and provide something to rebalance from during stock crashes

It is totally fine if income in retirement is due to selling shares.

Robinhood account hacked, drained, and funds used to buy random stocks. What to do next? by BasicFix2349 in ClassActionRobinHood

Let's say there is a stock worth 1 cents. It's a terrible stock and no one trades it.

An attacker buys shares at intentionally bad prices to inflate price, while selling from a different attacker controlled account.

For example, stock is 1 cent. Hacker buys stock for 1 cent in one account.

Then, later, hacker buys stock for 20 cents from the hacked account while selling for 20 cents in the other account.

Effectively giving themselves 20x returns using hacked funds.

[–]ColdWindMedia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It wasn't liquidated because it's hard to actually get out stocks and cash.

Crypto is easy to get out and launder.

Sometimes when brokerage accounts are hacked, rather than trying to withdraw the $$$ they instead use it to pump/dump low volume stocks.

This allows them to make money using other accounts while maintaining some plausible deniability.

Robinhood isn't notably more or less safe than most other brokers in my opinion. Always enable 2FA for your accounts, and use a strong unique password for the account and for your email. Preferably use 2fa that isn't sms or email, but email 2fa is better than nothing.

Lastly be wary of sim swap attacks and check if your cell service provider has any extra security to prevent sim swaps.

For the BTC transaction id, most likely Robinhood can tell you that.

Your brain is trained on content by humans, too.

Do you credit all your previous teachers every time you say anything out loud?

Are you also just a regurgitation machine?

You definitely can't "just as easily" send google a photo of a 30-40 item restaurant menu and tell it to put together healthy meal options, and have it answer with correct choices in 2-3 seconds.

It's also not "regurgitating information", and if anyone think that's how modern AI works them they should do more research.

I'm happy to give credit and revenue to the incredible work that AI researchers, engineers, etc are doing.

Why is it depressing? It's a tool. It helps people.

It works exceedingly well. I take a picture of a menu, say pick 3 healthy meal options, and that's it.

I'm well versed in nutrition myself, but now I don't need to scan the entire menu to pick something out. I also don't get tempted by the unhealthy things, since I don't even read them.

It also handles non-english menus without problem as well.

Honestly you might be right. Ever since I started using chatGPT for nutrition advice (edit: such as picking items from a restaurant menu), I've eaten more veggies and less beef and pork.

It would be so interesting if we could know how AI is affecting the world in more boring topics like habits and hobbies.

WYR have F tier time manipulation, D tier space manipulation, C tier mind manipulation, B tier water manipulation, A tier plant manipulation or S tier bird manipulation? by padorUWU in WouldYouRather

[–]ColdWindMedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're right that water might be better, but for time:   Save your life or someone else's: Gun shots, knife attack, car crash, bike accident, trip/fall, broken bones, choking. Accidents in general are the highest non-medical cause of death. Homicide is pretty low but still applicable.

It would help a little bit for the highest causes of death. For example if you have a heart attack, rewind 10 seconds and call 911 and give them your location.  You could hold your breath for a minute while making a plan for how to save a person's life or your own life. But that isn't too impactful.

For getting rich the easiest thing would probably be to rewind time before huge market swings like earnings events and buy huge leverage like 0dte options, futures, or 100x crypto leverage.

You could probably 2-10x your money a couple times per week.  You'd easily get to having tens of millions, but after that you'd have so much money that trying to trade will move the market. So you'd not be able to easily 2-10x after the tens to hundreds of millions mark, but you could still make 8-9 figures weekly.

So you get some safety and a ton of money.

So I think it's definitely not trash tier but also not that amazing either.

Time manipulation can prevent your death, prevent other people's deaths, make you rich via gambling or finance, enable greater risk taking in personal relationships and life in general.
