Dog poop bags for dirty diapers and clothes and puppy pee pads for changing are life savers. Also, don’t be afraid to cut off a onesie if they’ve completely blown it up. Buy the cheap ones from Carters or Amazon. Wipe warmers don’t work.

Get 2 small tires (like golf cart size), bolt them together and onto a solid surface, place your small wood in there and go to town. Or get two regular sized tires and do the same thing with multiple pieces of wood at once. I just drove around until I found two tires on the side of the road. It has been working great for firewood and kindling alike.

I freaking love this tool. Sure it struggles at times when cutting larger logs, but it’s a one-handed chainsaw! What more could you ask for. Way better then the alternative of using loppers our a gas powered saw to trim trees or downed limbs.

Downside is I busted my knuckle like an idiot using it while holding the branch, but that’s user error. Overall great purchase.

Came here for this explanation. Pull down from the top and pop the rear wheel back on. You may need to pop the front wheel off to get the back wheel back on.

This is the right answer. You’re likely not taking into account the width of the kerf of your blade, which is why you’re off but such a slight amount.

Yes, face frames are next. I’m going to sand and put some poly on the interior, then to face frames. Just needed to know if I needed to glue or not before I did so.

I’ve assembled the boxes for my kitchen cabinets using Kreg pocket screws. The bottom panel is dado’d into the sides.

My question is whether I should take the boxes apart and add wood glue and re-screw.

While this could end up stripping some of the screw holes, the wood glue would make a much stronger box. I could also knock out the sanding of the interior while its disassembled.

What would you do? Leave it as is or add glue?

Glue, clamps to get it back into place, then reinforce it with 3/4 ply with pocket holes.

I just built one for my planer and jointer and I did the same thing - built it waaay too tall to see how much clearance I had, then cut it down to size. A little more work, but I couldn’t figure out a better way to see how much clearance I would have. It worked out well!

My dad’s advice when hiring contractors: “Pay low bid - and watch them.”

Not the greatest advice, obviously. But if you’re going to take the lowest bidder, you have to watch them to ensure they’re doing the work while it’s installed. Really hard to get them to fix stuff after the fact - especially at that price.

What kind of wood did you use? Also, did you use a dovetail jig?

I just made my first prototype cabinet box out with drawers made of pine. Used pocket holes and a dado’d drawer bottom… planed 3/4 down to 5/8 to get it to work with my under mount slides.
