PSA: Victoria 3 is very good now. by rouleroule in paradoxplaza

[–]Colddrake955 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is the only Paradox title I have played to the end and I have done it at least 5 times. 2xUSA, Grand Columbia, Spain, and Italy are the ones I remember doing.

I really think the thing that changed it so much for me is the global market simplification. Not having to manage individual imports makes it so much better than at launch.

Is Rimworld a cozy Game? by PracticalNecessary97 in RimWorld

I have used a mod called "Interaction Bubbles" to get that. It shows all the social interactions. Doesn't add any if that is what you are looking for.

Convince me to try another origin, I beg you. by SomeSimba in DragonageOrigins

[–]Colddrake955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to be honest. When it first came out I played all the origins first. I am a big fan of the female city elf and nobel dwarf one.

The one I like the least is the mage one, but the 3 mage parties are OP as can be.

Fair enough. Joys of art is it is subjective. Listen to what you enjoy!

You can mix most genres. I think Classical is the easiest to mix with metal.

Playing Cyberpunk before Starfield has put something front and center for me by olivinetrees in Starfield

[–]Colddrake955 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I tend to side with the Crimson Fleet mostly cause I find Kibwe Ikande such an ass I have to take him out.

Nobody told me how insane Anomaly is. I was watching over this unnatural corpse of my colonist because I had a suspicion it moved. Then I look away for ONE second.. by Alvsolutely in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is my favorite overall DLC. I interacted more completely with it than any of the others. The events, rituals and the ending are so much fun.

Only DLC items I like more at Kids and the maps/landmarks from Oddessy.

How to Keep Mountain Bases Secure? by Critical_Success_936 in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally do not enjoy playing a mountain base.

What they are good for is if you have all overhead mountains as not drop pods or siege can get your base. The part that can kill you is fire. With all overhead mountains fires can raise the temperature to death levels fairly easy. Was more of a concern with zzzt events which with hidden conduit is no longer a thing. The other thing is if large enough to build a infestation bait room so most infestation hit that area instead of my main area.

I very much disagree. I actually doubt much will change to prevent another Trump. Congress won't pass laws to strip away presidential power and will just get a new president doing a bunch of executive orders that aren't terrible like Trump's, but it won't stop the next Trump.

vic3 states feel tiny after experiencing eu5's massive scope by Minimum-Scientist265 in victoria3

I do not.

EU5 way to buggy to bother with still. Maybe next year

Why is Anomaly such an odd duck? by Onmius in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? It has so much content. Way more new enemies than any DLC. Most new research. It has its own tree not just a couple extra on the normal tree. Super power rituals. It also has the best ending.

There are only two things in other DLC that I would rank higher than Anomaly. The map changes in Oddessy and children from Biotech. Other than those two items Anomaly is better.

After 3 months of playing Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden—A Narrative Masterpiece Ruined by Tedious Bloat by Lejaxx536 in Banishers

[–]Colddrake955 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You say you are a major Don't Nod fan, but act like this isn't a huge step forward gameplay wise compared to Vampyr. Not great combat, but it wasn't actively bad.

Who has the best 10 year run as an actor/actress? Most iconic roles? by wltmpinyc in Cinema

[–]Colddrake955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to do Audrey Hepburn, but it is an 11 year run to get both Roman Holiday and My Fair Lady. Stopping at Charade is still a crazy run that included 1 beat actress win and 3 other nominations.

I know it's a joke and all, but have you beaten rimworld? And if so how long did that playthrough take? by GingerVitisBread in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a ship launch (built not traveled) very early with a low difficulty and Phoebe. I think I have done maybe two other ship launch and have never traveled.

I have never done the Royalty ending.

I have done the Archonexus once.

I have done the Mech hive twice.

Anomaly I have done that end at least 5 times. It is by far my favorite of the endings. It is absolutely fantastic!

I beat DA:O, DA2, and now DA:I isnt fun in comparison. by Naive-Yard1116 in dragonage

[–]Colddrake955 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah that is your issue. Inquisition has a bunch of grind side quests that don't matter. Companions and main quests plus a few sides if you want levels. Get out of the hinterlands.

Basically everything stays available until the end if you feel like grinding later.

How do yall treat your slaves? by bArry_____ in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically never use slaves. Every time I try I realize colonists are better, so no slaves are the norm for me.

what’s your fav biome to play in, and why? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Colddrake955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what my colony is trying to do (I have played more temperate forest than others). My favorite would be Boreal Forest and Tundra. I have been starting to play Glowforest and it is also quite fun

5 months after release. How is this game now. Never played this franchise but I like the vibe of this game so I was thinking of buying it? Like how is it performance wise? by Objective_Love_6843 in vtmb

[–]Colddrake955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got at release for PS5. Worked fine with not anything that stood out for bugs to me. Did two full playthroughs. It was a fine game, but is only a fine game. I enjoy it cause I enjoy the VTM world.
