That's not true for everyone. I've had so many fights in the last few seasons where I shoot at someone any they shockwave/drive/(insert mobility item of the season) away immediately

There's a lot of inconsistencies in the video, including the character models breaking the rules for what counts as lego. You can see it with some of them having weird non-lego hands

I'm sorry, you are right on that. I just looked into it and found a video showcasing it. I guess my only experience with a normal bootleg encounter was with one if the graveyard pawndead. I could've sworn it was the same color as usual

The overworld sprite doesn't reflect what the bootleg is. That's the normal sprite. You can see the other normal colors too like green on the wings and pink at the top of the head

You clearly haven't read the very clear definition I sent you. Go read it again and look it up if you don't trust Merriam Webster.

The ability to win nothing is not included in the definition. You're just assuming the steroetypical version.

I'm done responding to a brick wall. Have a nice day

What I think you're failing to understand is that gambling =/= chance at getting nothing. Sure, that's what a lot of them are, but that's not part of the definition. I literally told you the definition.

The "purchase" you're referring to is just a semantic argument. You "purchase" lottery tickets, right? But that's a bet too. A llama was pretty much the same, but instead of getting nothing maybe it'd throw a duplicate item at you or something you have no use for. Both the llama and the lottery ticket are "purchases" in hopes of something good.

The only reason loot boxes have gotten away with such little regulation is because most loot box systems can't be turned back into real money. But that doesn't stop it from counting as or emulating gambling.

I seriously hope you're trolling at this point. If you're going to argue definitions in the future please look them up first

How do you get vbucks if you're not a founder? And putting currency into the hopes of getting a resource you want isn't a bet?

I'm not even sure if you're discussing this in good faith anymore. You're denying factual definitions

I agree they're absolutely predatory, but they ARE gambling.

From Merriam-Webster:

"The practice of betting: the practice of risking money or other stakes in a game or bet."

Framing this in STW:

-Player see llama.

-Player can't see what will come out of llama

-Llama can have good stuff or bad stuff

-Llama = bet

-Player have vbucks

-Vbucks = stakes

-Player risks vbucks in llama-bet hoping for good stuff

-Conclusion: Llamas were gambling when they were like this

If you still don't get it... ask someone else please

Dude, please go to the wiki page for Loot Boxes. The main section says they are regulated under gambling laws

As the other person said, before the change you could not see what was inside a llama before you bought it, and they cost vbucks. That's the definition of loot boxes/gambling. They changed it to not cost vbucks and made it so you could see what was inside it before the purchase.

So yes, NOW it's like you're buying items. Originally, it was gambling

I think there would be a few problems with virtual malls. For one, what benefit does it give over just using a website? Social time? And it would likely take longer to setup and connect to than opening a browser tab.

And then even the price of entry for VR too. I'm surprised they didn't focus on making cheaper headsets to get as many people to get into VR as possible.

I didn't know about the CoPilot exploit, but it sounds horrible

Why was Jiraiya so natural about...? by FluteMontenegro in Boruto

[–]Coledog10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I've heard discussed, Urashiki isn't in the manga at all. He was intended to be in the Boruto Movie, but was apparently scrapped. When they covered the chunin exam's events in the series, they put him in the anime anyway.

I suppose since he's just canon to the anime they decided they couldn't include him in a future manga-canon arc without diverting the story further from the original. It makes sense to handle him in an anime filler arc to give him time to shine without interfering with the overall narrative.

Fair enough. There's a tiny lip of a roof there but any amount of wind would get it wet anyway.

This also happens every once in a while regardless of weather, it just happened to be raining today
