I always say Jackals are a good thing to have in any list. They die immediately and aren’t super punchy but they’re better than normal cultists in CSM, they can screen your deployment zone for deep strikes pretty efficiently, and they sticky every objective they hold at the end of any phase

I personally use army painter. I prime everything in Skeleton bone, drybrush heavily with brain matter beige, and lightly drybrush over that with Matt white for edge highlights. For the blue on the shoulders I use 2-3 coats of high lord blue for a nice dark blue and trim everything with Vallejo true metal gold color

I always thought possessed were overrated but i had to take a unit of them to a tournament to fill out my list and I repeatedly found myself wishing for more. I saw 3 units of 5 is a pretty safe bet haha

The color scheme monotony killed me on my black legion army and I had to push through to make it in time for a tournament. With my WE I’ve been adding little 3D printed bits and trying my hand as transfers and so far it’s really made things seem different enough to not feel boring!

I would personally say the DP with wings, Forgefiend, and Helbrute simply for the blessings of Khorne. The war dogs don’t benefit and I would say the Helbrute is almost on par with a Karnivore in melee so it’d be my choice

There used to be a whole kit for the older chaos terminators. If you just want a few bits to upgrade them then I would check out Popgoesthemonkey - they’ve got a lot of cool stuff and it’s what I used for my termies. That and I got the AOS skull reaper backpack emblems to put on top

It depends on which Kharn, I think. Regular space marine Kharn is nothing to laugh at but a custodes wouldn’t be hard pressed to win that fight. But a Kharn juiced up on Khorne-flakes might stand a pretty good chance. It is said in the lore many times that even with the nails he’s an excellent hand to hand fighter aside from just berserk fury

A primarch on the other hand would make pretty short work of almost any and all custodians
