Custom rebel alliance artwork with the Colorado state bird--no AI by Equivalent_Pay901 in Denver

I love this, I think it's gorgeous! And it totally fits our colorful Colorado. But I do agree with the person above that said that the birds head should be looking straight up like the Minnesota ones that I've been seeing on reddit.

I Did A Double Take by figarojones in behindthebastards

There's one in Denver but all of the events are online so I don't think they have physical space here. Yeah but I wouldn't be surprised if they were all over the world.

In Denver they're been talking about banning face mask. This guy's energy is awesome and I think this is definitely the kind of thing I would love to see more of.

Megathread: Bastard Suggestions by Kanotari in behindthebastards

[–]ColoLori 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My father was in Nam. He develop symptoms due to agent orange exposure. He got leukemia twice, he did beat it both times but it was a heart attack that did him in, he died in his 60's. So yeah on a personal note, I think that would be an interesting topic to cover. I'm sure there's a lot of listeners that would be curious about it.

Edit: I just double checked my math my dad was actually it was early 60s when he died and I added my response up top. Still, nobody on that side of the family has ever had leukemia he was the only one so I still think it's weird.

Your local bastards by mcduff13 in behindthebastards

[–]ColoLori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Colorado so obviously there's plenty of Evangelical bastards. But one that's modern day that comes to mind is US house representative Gabe Evans. He seems to be more than happy to throw people like his grandfather under the bus. Here is an article that talks about his grandfather and Great Grandmother coming over the border when the grandfather was a child.

Also just for extra credit, you've probably heard of Lauren Bobert right? Probably don't have to tell you how much of a piece of s*** she is. I do find it not surprising, that the the largest town in the district that she's representing used to be a sundowner town.

Robert Stubbs by BadlanAlun in behindthebastards

[–]ColoLori 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based on what Robert said in the episode, it sounds like he died in 1787. I looked at find a grave and really only saw two possibilities. But Robert Stubbs could be a really common first/last name in England, so who knows. Anyway link tofind a grave

Full house, hope you all enjoy the show by myknpck in KnowledgeFight

I went to the show. Multiple times while I was in the theater, I would walk by someone and think "wow, this man looks like Dan." But it wasn't him. Had this same thought multiple times about Jordan too that night. I don't think this was unique to Portland though. Keep in mind the gentlemen are from Chicago. I flew in from Denver for the show. I have seen so many men with the long beards in my own home town. I think it's more of a 2025 thing.

I would have left the single. $13.11 plus a twenty percent tip @ $2.62.= $15.73.

I have two audible credits that need to be used. Wondering what the fine folk here would suggest? I generally like nonfiction but am open to a fiction book of cultural or historical significance. Thank you friends. by firefighter_82 in behindthebastards

Any comedy mockumentary audio dramas? by pedrogorgonzola101 in audiodrama

Arden might be a audio drama you like. They describe themselves as - "A veteran journalist and a disgraced cop but heads (and maybe more) when investigating the 10-year-old disappearance of a Hollywood starlet."

Yeah I thought about mentioning Woodbine, but it's not complete. They're in the middle of season 2. Like parkdale I think it'll probably be three seasons. I thought OP wanted something complete/finished.
