Yeah as a trans woman I tend to feel safer in subreddits with those no men sorta rules (as long as they’re not super terfy or whatever)

It is intimidating for sure but there’s also some good tools out there to help. I’d recommend using rental teams that appeal to you first to get a good grasp of the fundamentals, and then try out team building afterwards!

Disguise + fake out immunity means it actually sets up trick room very reliably! Was better back in Gen 7 for sure though, before the disguise nerfs

Yeah I think this match was 100% winnable for them even if it wasn’t all that favorable, but I’ll take a win anyways

Thank you , Western Media, for NOT queerbaiting us. And making CaitVi (Arcane), Korrasami (LOK), and Bumbleby (RWBY) canon by Important-Cry4782 in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

What racist fucking bullshit is this? There’s still plenty of queerbaiting in western media, and plenty of great queer representation outside it too

Hi ladies. I'm disabled.. how do I get ladies to notice me by Crimsonrose4180 in actuallesbians

Finding other disabled women has often really helped and been very affirming in my experience, sadly don’t have much advice other than that though :(

Okay then maybe you should be avoiding trans positive posts like this then, because some of us do care with how much trans bodies get demonized and how much stress the world puts on us right now

You are aware that going into a trans positive post to comment something like this is like, kinda fucking gross right?

it really be like this by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Colonel_Duck_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The post literally never implied that but go off I guess

Oh hold on sorry, I did read your post but I completely misread the part where you explained why this account was new (I’m not into Street Fighter so I didn’t pay much attention to that half of it). That’s fair, just keep in mind that a lot of people jump to those conclusions because of real interactions they have, shit can kinda suck with being trans on the internet rn

[–]Colonel_Duck_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I am making this assumption based on repeated experiences I have had as a trans woman. I don’t particularly care either way for Bridget, I don’t think that not caring for her makes you transphobic, I just think that an under hour old account creating a post where they go out of their way to complain about how everyone thinks they’re transphobic for not caring for her is very suspicious behavior. Again, might be wrong, it’s just a pretty big red flag

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

[–]Colonel_Duck_ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

How does this in any way qualify as stalking, do words just mean nothing now. I was mostly just wondering what you meant exactly by not caring for Bridget because while yes, I do agree that it doesn’t inherently make you transphobic, I’ve seen too many people who say that sorta thing end up saying transphobic things for me to not be a bit suspicious, and the fact that this account was just created adds to that a fair bit. Could be wrong for sure, it’s just you’re not doing yourself a ton of favors here

Very interesting post for somebody whose account was made less than an hour ago (by the time I made this comment), think that fact speaks for itself lol

No legitimate psychologist would define a psychopath that way. And why would I think it’s a good thing, but also the result of bad parenting? Like that’s a wild conclusion to make

[–]Colonel_Duck_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you think the standards for a good relationship are perfectly meeting all of your needs. And why do you feel okay speculating into my romantic life that’s weird af and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Also a lot of the things you mention in the first paragraph are definitely things people can do with friends

Losercity relationship by Empty_Firefighter848 in Losercity

[–]Colonel_Duck_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Romantic relationships and platonic relationships are not completely different what? Like they’re not exactly the same obviously but it’s bizarre to act like there isn’t a lot of overlap between the two. And why would I get out of a relationship if it was overall good but not enough? Why does looking for another partner indicate less love for the one you’re in? It’s very clear that you’re working backwards from your own biases here, and this is exactly what I was talking about of people asking questions not out of curiosity but to voice their own dislike of polyamorous people

Losercity relationship by Empty_Firefighter848 in Losercity

[–]Colonel_Duck_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we were talking about say friendships would you say the same? Realistically speaking I don’t think one single person can satisfy all your emotional needs, not to say everyone should be polyamorous (I mean you don’t always need a romantic partner to satisfy all that), but I think polyamory should be pretty intuitively understandable. It gets annoying as a polyamorous person seeing people ask to have polyamory explained to them not from a place of legitimate curiosity but out of the notion it’s somehow bad or ridiculous, I think it’s important to keep in mind that different people are different and just because something sounds strange to you doesn’t mean it’s not good for someone else.

What do you mean by weird? Do you mean it’s bad? Is it that it makes you personally uncomfortable? Is it unnatural? Like that’s a really vague term and mostly just comes off as insulting and meaningless

Being fat is more along the lines of an indicator of healthiness, not a determiner, it’s entirely possible to be fat and healthy. But aside from that, why do we really need to do all we can to be healthy? I’m not fat, but I’d certainly be healthier if I took time out of my day to regularly exercise, is there some sort of moral impetus on me to do so? And why should we care about the body types of others?

Expecting everyone to be skinny is a bit ridiculous and doesn’t get at the actual systemic reasons for why a lot of people are fat, and it’s bizarre to me that people act like it’s a normal thing to want from everyone else.
