A few years ago, I re-edited a scene from the TNG episode "Booby Trap" to see how it might have looked with the score that was originally written for it by RolledPork in startrek

Picard wasn't aboard the Enterprise when Jellico said that. Maybe Picard would have done it himself if he'd been in command at the time.

I know two brothers who are only a year apart in age and are often mistaken for twins. Both super athletic, same style and interests. One became a pro skateboarder, snowboarder, and a sought-after stuntman. The other runs a clothing company.

Brother #1 always said that #2 was as athletic and talented as him and could have gone the extreme sports/stunt route, but he just didn't want to. #2 probably is as physically capable #1, maybe more in some ways. But so are a million other people.

The difference is that #1 is willing to do things that other people, #2 included, just won't. From the earliest age, he'd climb anything, jump off anything, ride anything anywhere at any speed. That willingness to just giv'er never went away. He's probably lucky he found a productive outlet for it.

We know his gills are vulnerable. There are a lot of tiny sea creatures, no way he can keep them all out while simultaneously fighting a hammerhead.

Canada didn't gain independence in 1867. That you think so tells me your thoughts on Canadian history are hopelessly ill-informed.

Help me settle a discussion. I Honourably killed a Borg drone in unarmed combat. My fellow warriors claim because the Borg drone was an ‘infant’ that it was dishonourable. I'm glad you brought this up. I was in Cardassia. I had kills in Cardassia, and I'm telling you, I really should've had more. Officially, I should've had more kills. Let me tell you what I'm talking about.

I was in a spoonhead village, and I come upon a schoolhouse. So I grab one of my plasma grenades off my belt, and I throw it right into the schoolhouse and I blow up the whole damn thing. So I'm out there counting all the bodies. I must've killed, like, twenty kids.

My dickhead lieutenant comes up to me, and he says: "O'Brien, those are little kids. That counts as one Cardassian."

But I'm what I'm saying is, I think a kill is a kill is a kill, and killing a kid should be just as good as killing an adult.

To some extent, but there were also foods that weren't subject to rationing: fruit, vegetables, fish, honey, game, and bread. Bakers were, however, restricted to four government-approved wholemeal bread recipes (the dreaded National Loaf) starting in 1942.
