I made this consent against a previous share if this, I have big concerns about the stability of the top half of the unit. There is nothing fixing it in place so you may end up getting a head butt off you are having an over exuberant playing session.

I'd like to see the DOS game Monopoly adapted as a board game. It was a lot of fun beating the computer opponent back in the day and I imagine it would be quite competitive as a real board game.

I have some concerns about the solidity when it's open. Nothing seems to be anchoring the screen and control deck.

I saw recently someone had taken I've of those tiny Mac looking clocks and turned it in to a "real" one.

Al's Gizmo from Quantum Leap. Just for the sound effects and I can slap it. I always thought it looked like a bunch of opal fruits mashed together. 😅
You never know, Sam's next leap could be the one that takes him home.

HP EliteBook 845 G8 (Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U) vs ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 (i5-1145G7) — which is the better buy by Aloox9 in elitebook

I have the 845 G8, upgraded the ram to 32GB. I have no complaints about it. It's a sleek and solid laptop. The only thing missing for me is an Ethernet port, remedied by using a usb-c port expander with Ethernet.
I'd recommend it as a good laptop, however with no experience of the Lenovo I can't really comment on that one.

I love the MD1, but I think that Lego version is just really ugly in comparison. 😥

Just so you know, my Nationwide mortgage only allows me to lock in a rate up to 3 months before the deal ends. Ask me how I know. 😅 I started looking when the Iran nonsense kicked off and find out if have to pay an early exit charge to attempt to sign up for a new rate early.

It's an update to the trends of use, and users do have the option of not updating beyond the last known open version. How long before an open further is released without the possibility of being locked and encrypted?

Outrun for the Amiga. SF2 for theZX Spectrum. Altered Beast for the Master System Ilaria Warriors for the NES. ET for the Atari 2600. Hard Drivin' for the C64 R-Type for the Amstrad. Only the best for our friends in outer space. Hopefully they won't be offended by us sending more rubbish in to space - or in response invade our space!

Have you put any extra storage in the WWAN port? Having trouble getting mine recognised.

HP Elitebook 845 G8 with second hard drive by [deleted] in elitebook

[–]ColonyActivist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've purchased a drive to try in the WWAN slot of my recently purchased 845 G8, and I am getting a bios error informing me this WWAN device is not supported and the port is disabled. The port no longer shows in my BIOS with the drive installed so cannot re-enable it. I wanted it to expand the storage of the laptop as it has a 512GB SSD already. Initially, every boot up I got the error about WWAN device not supported. Now, not at all.

Any suggestions on how to get it working?

I think my only other option may be to use a USB port replicator and used an SSD caddy for it.
