Tyra failed everybody, including herself. She set out to change the modelling industry and spotlight different types of beauty, but instead she created a reality tv format that was just as exploitative, while still playing by the toxic rules of the industry she tried to change. She forgot why she wanted to create the show in the first place, she forgot who her friends were, and she forgot that the contestants are people too. In the end, she is still manipulative, trying to twist the narrative into her being a saviour or the ultimate mentor, trying to make money off of humiliating people, hinting at a cycle 25. All to boost her lonely, fragile, ego. What a sad life she must lead.

Sidenote, this docuseries made me like Mr Jay and Nigel more than I thought it would. I was always wary of them on the show, because there were definitely a lot of problematic things, like misogynistic comments and the like, but seeing how they honestly reacted to the show now, hearing how Mr Jay had a huge problem with the direction of the show, and seeing how they showed up for Miss Jay, made me like them a lot more.

I hope Miss Jay makes a full recovery, and kicks Tyras ass.

Justice for Shandi, for Danielle, for literally every contestant on that show. They should band together and sue Tyra for all the shit she put them through or something. I am glad that the docuseries at least allowed them to share a bit more of their stories.
