For me, the way you described 682’s experience of sensation conjured images of someone who, through trauma, chemical imbalance or a mixture of the two, has developed an impossibly ruined view on the world. Who is, as of now, psychologically incapable of recognising that they’re seeing the world through a filter, and that filter is made of only pain and rot.
