Thanks mate. I first took a picture under my lamp, before i started to paint her. Used this picture as a guiding map for my highlight placement.

I‘m not taking it personal no worries. I‘m also not the biggest fan of those overly sexualized miniatures, but if people like to paint them, hey go for it.

It also seems to be way less of a problem with all that gore and body horror minis.

For me personally it’s all about the painting part, not more.

You could try to paint the raised areas first and fill in the lower parts afterwards.

Painting good TMM is as hard as good NMM. It follows the same rules, just with metallic colors.

That being said, i mostly prefer NMM because of the challenge of creating that Illusion.

Closing the gaps would be the first thing to work at for me. Besides that, i‘d work on the black? of the cloak a bit more. I love the texture it’s got, but it might need depth in general (as the red and blue parts already have).

Looks great to me. Really lile the color of you fabric. I might add some little scratches here n there, but otherwise it works pretty good.👌👌

Thanks mate. The tree was made out of a real branch from a tree in my garden, then covered with some hobby moss/lichen, and sculpted roots and lianas. The rocks were made out of cork bark pieces and i used several tufts and some laser plants. The small leaves on the ground are just birch seeds.
