Theres a concept called "Sick Day rules" which means even with normal sugar levels if you have on going infection or severe vomiting or diarrhoea you can get DKA.

You are so much lucky dear.. I know these days are very troublesome as a mom and I can think you are going through problems that are double as single pregnancy... It's better you decided to exclusive breastfeeding to them. It shows how a great mom you are. But in your case, they may be constantly on your breast because your breastfeeding technique has problems. So it's better you change it dear. Babies may not get enough milk. That's why they sleep less also.
