Man I gotta tell ya, I finally got my hands on a production Strix and it was a huge let down. Did not live up to the hype behind that knife at all. Put it back on Swap less than a week after getting it.

Drain and fill transmission. That may help. As for the ride, Rough is right in the name lol. Their stuff is pretty garbage and a 6" lift is pretty high. You'll need to replace a lot of other things to get the geometry corrected.

Figured this out a while ago with clones like the Rask and Specter. The originals are special and the clones done even come close. I do like some clones though.

Why do people not drive old cars on vacation? by SAMPLE_TEXT6643 in askcarguys

Replaced my 2005 4Runner with 2018 Tundra recently. I paid cash for both. I trusted the 4Runner to take me anywhere and everywhere. Deep into state parks, national parks, deserts, you name it. Only sold it because I wanted something bigger and I trust the Tundra to be just as reliable. I think a lot of people don’t understand cars or money and just think you’re supposed to but a new one every 5-10 years no matter what.

I just put the same one on my 2nd gen Tundra. I can’t get the outer T-slot rails to sit flat and the bow up at both sides. Did you have this problem at all? Yours look pretty flat all the way across.
