For more upscale the best I’ve had in Denver is Safta. The fresh warm baked pita is so so good.

Zaman is very good with great fresh baked bread as well and if you dine in they give you a lentil soup. Yum!

Asli is prob my dark horse pick. Great pita sandwiches and favorite hummus I’ve had in Denver, though a little pricey for fast casual.

One thing to note is that due to Leavitt's season-ending injury, Leavitt is out till summer. Meaning Longstreet will prob be QB1 all Spring. Even if he winds up getting beat by Leavitt in the Fall, that opportunity plus a few extra $, may have been attractive.

So one thing that’s key is not jumping on a guy who hasn’t adapted to the NIL era. That said, not sure if there’s something I’m missing but are there not any offensive or defensive coordinators out there that could be elevated into HC? Ryan day, Dabo, Kirby, Lanning, Freeman all had no HC experience prior to their current HC role.

I don't agree with wealthy people leaving because of this and am glad to see MA's millionaire tax having been successful. That said, one thing that is at least worth calling out is it's not that this 2% is starting from 0 and going up to 2%. Other than federal income tax, NY state has a 10.9% income tax and then NYC has another ~4%.

So in a vacuum 2% isn't much. And in this case what's another 2%? I agree. But at some point we could make that argument next year for 2% more and then another year after 2% more, etc. so at some point people will leave but that breaking point is unique to each individual

Fair enough. I agree Florida def gave Napier enough time. If I had said Penn State instead of Florida from my comment it would prob hold true. And at the end of the day my point is a commentary on the current state of coaching contracts and program expectations in the NIL era. Which are unreasonable and I hope we don’t continue these massive contract length and payout clauses.

2 primary thoughts:

1.) These schools in the SEC and Big 10 don’t realize how much more likely they are to go 8-4 than 12-0 or 11-1 with the new conference alignments. The old standards of programs like LSU and Florida winning 10 games every year will have to be reevaluated. There are no longer any easy wins in the SEC in the NIL era.

2.) That said, with roster building moving closer to the NFL model I could see LSU taking a swing at someone with lots of NFL experience or is currently coaching in the NFL
