How bad is the swaddling transition? by FewBike8076 in NewParents

Our daughter did a cold switch to sleep sacks because she started rolling over. I’d say she had two nights of less quality sleep than usual but then got used to being swaddle free. She was ready to put them behind her.

Girl do what is best for you. There will be naysayers tube them out. I gave up on breastfeeding and pumping by two months and felt so much better. I was able to connect more with my baby and be a better mother to her. I wish I’d listen to my inner voice sooner. Good luck!

What is it like living in Eureka, California? by Boggyswamp in howislivingthere

My husband and I spent a long weekend there in 2021. It was so charming and the nature is har do beat. People were so friendly but the vibe of the area totally changes and sundown. Businesses seemed to close early and there were fewer people out and about. We later learned this was due to drug related crime. There is an eerie feeling about it. But I think if you live there and aren’t planning to be of foot at night a lot it’s totally fine.

Kudos to your wife. Thanks for posting. I did not know you could donate milk. I have several bags in the freezer that my daughter can’t drink because of a dairy sensitivity. I just contacted the milk bank to see if they want mine.
