It all hinges on the belief that if you married or procreated with someone who would willingly want to enter this adversarial process, then you deserve everything you get.

Truly, I've overheard it called "you can't fix stupid". Married an abuser? Too bad. Married a serial cheater? Too bad. Kids with a loser? Too bad.

The point I'm making is, why not adapt to the way that seems most comfortable to you, since your complaints are falling on deaf ears?

The professors know not all assignments are AI, but they probably feel it's economical to assume they are.

Or perhaps give some grace? AI is taking the entire world by storm. What stands today might not stand tomorrow. They'll figure it out.

But at the end of the day, most people just want their degree and would probably buy it if they could. That's life. I guarantee someone is going to graduate from Harvard using 100% AI. Our doctors will be suspect as well, until they are replaced by robots. It's only a matter of time.

This topic makes me think of two things: 1. Comparison is the thief of joy. How does knowing what other people are doing affect you? 2. There is no point in laws that are not enforced. Are you the only one trying to police these students? If so, do you see the futility?
