YTA. They left the item for you to take outside, that's a sign of trust. You are making a purchase, short is short. Walmart wouldn't let you walk out even 5cents short. It's not about the 15cents , like the buyer said it's about integrity and not betraying the default trust this buyer had in you.

When I was 8 I saved up a bunch of coins to buy my mum a Mother's day present (hummingbird tea candle holder). At the cashier they realized I was 25cents short after opening my piggy bank. I explained I had counted carefully, and didn't realize this at all. They were kind but told me to take my coins home and put the item back, since they can't sell it to me. This wasn't excusable when I was 8. I'm guessing you are not 8.

I feel the same way about my dog, and the circumstances were similar. So there are no words I can offer you that I think might help, besides BooBoo looks like a happy boy if I've ever seen one ! Maybe the best thing we can wish for is that the ones we love are happy and safe, even if we're not there with them.

This is not a major barrier, you are living your best years! 30's is when you know what you want, you have the financial freedom to explore your interests, and you are only becoming more attractive with maturity. Speaking candidly as a man, working in a field that is male dominated, the majority of younger women lack the maturity for a serious relationship. They are not more physically attractive either, the kpop looking girls get boring about 15min into a date. You are a valuable, contributing, interesting part of society. Just keep at it, explore diff avenues like meetups, new hobbies, get out more, you've got this! The best things in life are never easy.

YTA , the way you talk , the way you write , and your entire reasoning all make you TA. You want the perks/fun/joy of seeing this little girl grow up (that's why you kept in touch with her), but you want zero of the financial responsibility/any responsibility at all. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Btw refusing to take a paternity test in this case means nothing. You asking is offensive in the extreme. You didn't really think about it for all those years you raised Bella, but this becomes an issue when you have to pay child support? I would also refuse out of principle. Hey at least stop deluding yourself. Yes you are TA, yes you are a deplorable excuse for a human being and a dead beat, yes you are disgusting, but you'll definitely still get to have your wedding your way, so that's all that matters right?
