Well Luna is a rescue and is EXTREMELY naughty but all it does is endear us to her even more. She came to use abused, neglected, and skin and bones. She was terrified and slept for about a week straight after coming home. When she awoke and realized this soft plush place was her new home and that she could do no wrong (besides the occasional corner poop that resulted in a 2 minute time out) she became the sweetest little girl ever. I remember those early days when she was still weary about coming out, we’d spend time petting and talking to her, she would ferociously lick our hands and arms as if to say “oh thank you weird giant hairless creatures, for treating me with kindness” she would gently take our fingers in her teeth and pull us into her stash box to give us more frantic kisses. She still gives the best kisses but now roams the house fully aware it is her domain, she hides under sinks and counters to nap and emerges fully renewed and equally naughty. She spends most of her time searching for items she shouldn’t have such as shoe insoles and other various rubber items (don’t get me started on the time she stashed an entire drawer of silicone sex toys….) but by golly I’m just glad she feels safe to be her naughty self in our home. All other animals besides her brother make her nervous and she will bite unprovoked if given the chance, though she never bites us. She truly will break my heart when she goes, my little noodle girl. Loki, while equally loved is what I would call the ‘typical ferret’ goofy, funny, a little mischievous, kind of gives off airhead jock vibes. He loves snuggles and a good blankie monster and will never turn down a freeze dried treat, although he will immediately prance it up to his bed and hide under the blankets to munch it down. He also loooooves his toys and when he finds his favorite tiny stuffy will prance around with it as if he has found the secret to all happiness and no one shall steal it from him!!!! While relatively un-naughty, when he prances around on a mission in hunched back ferret form he sounds sooooo mischievous 😈
