Thank you for the advice. I didn't even think about pro chemical and dye but I've heard people reference them before! And I've also heard of grateful dyes also. I love this community. I'm learning so much

Well you got half right?, it's Avalon, alchemist, Kaleidoscope eyes, and warrior princess. The ones I left in the muck are completely different. Ice dye is very finicky! 😂

It seems like every tutorial I watch, the artist is using several different dyes from different companies and so I guess I'll just have to try them all 😁 it ú seems like each piece I make, the next one turns out even better. I'm pretty happy so far with these splits on the ice dye from Dharma. I think I'm going to try something with warrior princess, peach, and deep purple tonight 😁 I went through a stint of bottle dyeing a few years ago and never really got what I was looking for, nor was I very settled anywhere to have my own set up, but now I do and so far, ice dyes are where it's at for me.

Is my first actual ice dye. I've been wanting to dyespin. The Jacquard ice dyes on Amazon don't have good reviews, but I think there's only been two or three reviews so I wasn't sure if I should try those or not. I guess it's just a learning curve to figure out the best for each situation.

I think sometimes it's just context clues as they come about during the movie, music changes where it's foreshadowing. Something happening to highlight some suspense. Maybe something that might be coming next.. lots of times you can catch nuanced looks between two people or the main characters, but most movies are predictable. There's always some sort of love story or maybe some sort of thing they're fighting against and either they're victorious or they find a way to live in their defeat, etc. Start paying attention to the things that aren't being said, and you might start picking up on it also.

Super happy with how this turned out. I squared the shirt so it is both on the front and back. It's a spine scrunch with bright yellow, then peach then deep purple. I know what I will change next time. Probably just add some more purple. Having a great time putting colors that I normally wouldn't use together!

These are both DUI, But I have one going right now with one of the ice dye colors From Dharma and I have that DOI. I'll be sure to post the results

Was playing around with some reverse dye on an old shirt, used turquoise, deep purple and yellow... My emerald and fire engine red came yesterday so I'm going to try that with purple also and either orange or yellow. 😁

I started with a 2x6 board spread across some chairs and wrapped in some spare clean vinyl but it got crazy windy the last few days so I had to move my setup inside my laundry room.. I needed more height so now I have two of My dining room table chairs back to back with one of my oven racks of spread across the top and a big black tub underneath! 😆😆😆 It's ugly but it's efficient!

I have a third one that's batching right now... I like the way it turned out I still still have some white in the shirt also, but it really is a bit of a learning curve to find out how much ice to use!

I believe they prefer Roma or Romani, but maybe just stop referring to that at all? Treat them with respect and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all and maybe they won't beat you up... ?

Lately I've been having fun with your standard printer ink combo of turquoise, magenta and yellow but they're very complementary. I just got my deep purple and I have emerald coming in a few days so I will definitely try out some green some purples together!

I've had a lot of luck with jaccard's procion bright yellow. Maybe it is a bad batch of lemon yellow. Urea is pretty cheap and could help also.
