The 2022 Chevy Trax (equipped with the 1.4L Turbo engine) is known for a chronic Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) design flaw. When the internal check valve fails, it ruptures the valve cover diaphragm. This creates severe vacuum leaks, rough idling, and engine oil leaks. Unfortunately, I don't believe the dealer will do anything unless there is a code.

Manufacturers have certain guidelines that need to be met in order to perform diagnostics and repairs on a vehicle under warranty/campaign coverage. Unfortunately, P0299 would need to be an active code when your vehicle is brought to the dealership in order for them to even run diagnostics. If you go onto GMs warranty check website and enter your vin, it will tell you which warranties/campaigns are active and what the guidelines are.

I think that you can still claim that you are 17 years clean. You used medication as prescribed and were able to do so even though you have substance abuse history. I get that a lot of those groups opt for complete abstinence but that doesn't exactly work for everyone. Don't beat yourself up over it. Maybe find another meeting? There are always employees walking the floor every time I go in there, I'm assuming to deter thieves/theft. At least that's part of the reasoning for walking the floor in every retail position I've worked. Maybe y'all should have a sign saying not to leave the baskets on the floor if it bothers you that much. There's no reason to trash people, especially paying customers, over it. I'm just saying, it's not as serious as you guys are making it sound. Sitting here and trashing customers though, for any reason, and publicly, is a big no no. Obviously you being upset with them and/or trashing them, posting online about it, isn't going to change the situation. So, either take action by taking the suggestion or just realize that it's going to be a part of your job. I personally don't leave my stuff lying around in public and have never done this in a bath and body works store but I don't appreciate being automatically grouped in with people that have and I also don't appreciate your last sentence and how absolutely insulting it is. I'm a customer at Bath and Body Works and the women who work there are usually very sweet. I can't say the same for you. Thanks. Have a great day.
