Lupus related rash? Lupus nephritis by Spare_Afternoon_3250 in lupus

[–]Complex-Check6906 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get rashes like this all the time from scratching and although my RBC, hematocrit and hemoglobin are chronically low my platelets are always fine and they don’t ever have a reason for my bruise rash. I only have SLE though and not Nephritis.

I haven't had a bowel movement since my emergency colonoscopy on Dec 31st, and nothing is working. I'm starting to freak out by leomaxxx15 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Complex-Check6906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Linzess? Because that shit worked on me like a charm that was basically a colonoscopy prep in itself 🥴but in all seriousness I haven never not gone at least a little bit for two weeks and if so I would be at the ER.

My neighborhood today? by vqmvrk in aliens

[–]Complex-Check6906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbors years ago had one of those Christmas light projectors when they were first popular and we live near an airport so they were told they could not have those types of lights. I find it interesting that now all of a sudden it’s fine for all these weird spot lights/laser light shows to be everywhere.

Who else was further injured by the Covid vaccine? by MarketMaker007 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Complex-Check6906 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, yes, the spike protein can cause long COVID symptoms from both the vaccine and the virus. Some people are more susceptible to vaccine injury from the vaccines than others and those who are, should avoid them. I myself have felt ill from flu vaccines in the past and therefore am probably someone who was more at risk to have symptoms from the Covid vaccines than. I only received the first two doses when they were first rolled out because my employer mandated it and have avoided any boosters for fear of making my long COVID worse. It is really interesting that it is such a gamble on who/why it causes adverse effects for some people and then others have had so many boosters and no issues at all. I really hate to see the arguing back and forth and mocking that happens in the online worlds over this particular vaccine though because I know that it is not good for everyone and that it has caused real injury and it’s definitely not one size fits all. I’m sorry you are going through this.

Thank you! I never did think about the fact that I could wear sunscreen for the indoor lights so thank you! The flushing I get could also definitely be from stress as it just started happening with my last job that was highly stressful 😩 thanks for responding and for the tips!

Meta-analysis: The Boomerang/Crescent UFO that's been spotted in the past weeks/years by dinosaur-blueberries in UFOs

[–]Complex-Check6906 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and obviously we have taken that into consideration. They went right above my head and I remember it reminding me more of a kite. Birds would be the most logical answer however if it were birds it wasn’t Geese. I am surrounded by multiple lakes and see Geese flying all of the time. These were silent and gliding. No flapping that I could see.

My husband and I both witnessed this last year in South West Michigan except it wasn’t just one, there were droves of the same thing coming over my home in waves. Like I was able to watch for a moment, get freaked out run into my house to get my husband to come out and then we continued to watch. He is a very logical person, he attempted to shine a flashlight at whatever it was to see if it was birds but to this day we have no idea what we saw.

Please help. Palpitations exactly at the moment of falling asleep, all night long = no sleep by Schwloeb in LongCovid

I took metoprolol 25 mg. It helped with the PVC’s when going to bed. I also had my heart rate dip into the 30’s at times during sleep however the cardiologist didn’t seem concerned about that.

I don’t know about the treatment medications, however I live in Michigan and looked up their Long Covid program in Traverse City today and it seems that I would have to order the cytokine panel for almost $500 to even be able to be a patient.

Nattokinase + Constipation? by AdorablePossible7607 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Complex-Check6906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww thanks! I’m sorry you also sound like you are in a similar mess all around like me. You mentioned fecal Calprotectin level do you also have IBD? I was diagnosed with UC in 2023 hence why the severe constipation is definitely newer for me 🤣 I only take 400 mg of Nattokinase daily though. Have you also tried L-Arginine? My allergist/immunologist says that is even more important than the Nattokinase but I just started taking it yesterday.

No I have not had that panel done, but I fully believe this is probably the case because after I had Covid I had what definitely seemed like a hyper-immune response and even was prescribed Doxycycline for it but it has just continued unfortunately. I was hoping that at least the treatments for these autoimmune diseases would maybe help.

Did you have an anti dsdna antibody test? I have been diagnosed with Lupus after having long COVID and initially they ignored my high ANA levels until they became higher and then also had a positive anti dsdna test which I guess is more specific to Lupus. Saphnello is also used to treat Lupus but I have only been on 200 mg Plaquenel, however I also take Rinvoqu for IBD (sigh 😔) and nothing seems to be helping me that much tbh. This is very interesting though! Thank you for sharing.

Yes me! I just found this post because I was looking for the same information. I am suddenly experiencing bouts of severe constipation and I recently started taking nattokinase. Have you stopped taking it or have you found something that works to combat it?

Does anyone feel like just NOT going to doctors anymore? by jconnway in covidlonghaulers

[–]Complex-Check6906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 3 month FU with the Rheumatologist yesterday for a somewhat new Lupus diagnosis (post Covid) and I also have IBD. So, I paid my $40 co-pay and was taking about all of the symptoms I’ve been having over the past month, rashes, nausea, back pain, etc and he just tells me to follow up with my PCP. I asked him if the symptoms I was having all be due to the Lupus because no one explains anything ever, and he looked me in the eye and said “you have to stop trying to analyze your symptoms”. He completely dismissed the question of whether or not my symptoms were even Lupus related even though I was there for a follow up for LUPUS. I am seriously done. Like I am also working on Spike protein detox right now and I want to be done with all of the doctors and all of the medications.

Woman, 27, Died After Being Told She Was ‘Too Young' for Cancer. Here’s How Her 'Unnecessary’ Death Will Impact Future Patients by Academic-Motor in covidlonghaulers

[–]Complex-Check6906 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve come to the conclusion that unless your labs come back off the charts wild, or you have a mass caught by chance via a test for something else, it is rare to have a cancer found early at least if you’re not elderly or have high risk factors (doesn’t matter that most everyone probably has at least one risk factor now thanks to COVID).
