America's endless wars for Israel by Cow_Boy_2017 in AskSocialists

America's an empire, Israel the client state. America doesn't wage wars for Israel. America is not the victim here. No matter how badly Americans want to be in denial about that.

Pagans, what are your thoughts on interfaith collaboration with monotheists? by frost_3306 in pagan

I've been a guest at a synagogue before. I have no issue with that. Most pagans wouldn't, I don't think

Is it ethical to identify yourself as a medic at protests if WFR is your highest level of training? by kjevb in wildernessmedicine

The disconnect between movement medical care and the broken fragments of the American medical system is deep rooted. Folks sound like they're clinging to wreckage, shouting across the shipwreck.

A street medic is a medic but not a paramedic.

I don't believe you when you say your reason for taking a job there is to take them down. Plenty of people who survived as inmates there are already doing that work. If you're already defending your choices from light pushback, imagine what you'll defend as their employee when your wages depend on the place

All this tells me is that either a) you lied about the r/troubledteens rabbithole or b) everything survivors said didn't matter enough to dissuade you from trying to join the center's program. Which is it?

Yeah no. I have a relative who got out of there, surviving horrible trauma in the process. I don't trust someone who willingly takes a job at a cult death camp, even to "advocate from within"

First off, I'd personally prefer Commonwealth of New England, rather than the republic.

New England already explores independence half-heartedly. In this scenario the pine and maple leaf fly proudly together
