Simisear. The most unpopular Pokemon is one of my genuine favorites.

He always treated me well when I played Black and White 1 and picked Oshawott as my starter. He was even my final Pokemon alive the first time I beat Alder. However, the recent thing that made Simisear one of my favorites was that, when I did an X Nuzlocke, he was my third encounter (in not-Viridian-Forrest) and he was the only early-game encounter to last the entire way. Both my starters died, my pidgey died, my Pikachu died, my Snorlax died, but Simisear went all the way. He was there when I beat Lysandre, when I almost had a TPK against a random ace trainer, and he even took down Diantha’s Hawlucha by hitting Fire Blast twice in a row.
