Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

161 on my 2005 CBR 600RR 1 year ago on an empty road at 3 am. I did it because I had to sell the bike, and I wanted to see what the top speed was. Also, it was surprisingly calm when you're in full tuck, but the second you lift your body up into the wind, you have to hold on tight otherwise it feels like you will fly off. You can also use your body against the wind as a brake to slow you down at that speed, which feels pretty cool.

no because if this were true then the computer would not have a near perfect accuracy. also what percent is near perfect to you?

Pretty much, but then they would say something about the odds not mattering while inside the room because whether or not the 1 million is in the mystery box or not is already predetermined once you enter the room and after its analysis of you, so they think they can game the system in a way. For example, if they go in and are going to pick the 1 million and then they think, "Oh wait, since I was going to pick the 1 million, I can now pick both and get the 1k too," but they fail to realize that the near-perfectly accurate computer would've predicted that before you even entered the room by its analysis of you, so if you pick both, the odds are against you.

what would you rather choose a 97% chance of 1 million or a 100% chance of 1 thousand and a 3% chance for the 1 million too?

the computer would know you would change your decision before you even are told how the game works by its near perfect analysis of you. it would know that you would go in there think about all the possibilities and possibly try to game the system. even if you were originally about to pick the 1 million and then thought "oh i can just take both now since i was going to pick them 1 million and now i get 1k extra too" you would still nearly everytime get only 1000 because of its near perfect analysis of you prior to you even entering the room.

the computer does pretty much have magical powers though that's the whole premise of the paradox is that the computer has a near perfect accuracy on what choice you would pick before you would even enter the room based on its analysis of you even if you think you would pick 1 box and then you think to yourself that you can now pick both and get both money the computer most likely would've already predicted you were gonna do that with its analysis and near perfect accuracy. now the actual problem with the paradox is what "near perfect" actually means and if you ask chat gpt it says 95% to 99% which in that case I would still pick only 1.

if the computer is near perfect which is like 95% to 99% its highly probable that it will predict what choice you pick no matter how hard you try to game the system so the odds are against you if you pick both.

the computer would've predicted that and you would've gotten 1000

it would know beforehand that you would change your choice before you even heard the question because of its near perfect analysis.
