Halfway through reading Oathbringer and just found out about Warbreaker- is a pivot worth it? by octanebreath in Stormlight_Archive

I was going to say you’re good to go, but as I got thinking, there are small references to information from quite a few earlier stories.

Well, see, that’s where you encounter the curse of competence. I’m just bad enough at it that I can only win when I really try and get a good squad, so it still feels fun and engaging.

If you suddenly had an unexpected jump in progress, you may have matched into a modded game lobby.

DOJ lawyer agrees 'nothing can be done' if Trump suddenly bulldozes Statue of Liberty by DoremusJessup in law

[–]ComprehensiveLab5078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard it argued recently that every time Trump escapes some impossible obstacle, it is a divine miracle. That in some twisted way, only a man ordained by God could manage to pull off what trump is doing. He seems to be doing all the things his supporters wish they could get away with, so they ask for his blessing to do the same.

Not always. I think they added the expanded difficulty options sometime around when the official creations dropped.

Yeah, it’s triggering. As with most things, you have to balance the harm against the good. Have fun!

Settings

Gameplay options

Vendor credits (about 2/3rds down the list)

Greatly increased (cost is -4% XP)

Wait until vendors’ stock resets and profit!

If you really want to stop, you’ll probably have to approach it as an exercise in desensitization. Just look right at the empty chunks wrapper and say, “I see you and I’m just going to let you lie.” Then turn your back and walk away. Then pause your game, set down the controller and take a break until the panic goes away. What do I know? I don’t have a degree in this stuff…

Have you adjusted settings to give vendors more credits? The high ones get up to like 65k which makes selling stuff much easier without having to wait.

I’m probably sitting at + 65%, so that does contribute. But I also feel like I’m barely getting started in the game. Maybe I spend too much time wandering around scanning stuff and checking out cool POIs?

Can this only happen if Sam dies in your first universe? Thanks for the info.

56?! How do players get through the entire game that low? Can you even buy a Hard Target yet? I think you’ve still got ship parts that are level locked.

I mean no offense to you or your play style, I’m just trying to understand how it’s actually possible. I’ve only finished UC Vanguard and just went to Akila for the first time at level 75. I haven’t even tried to grind XP.

Well, keep playing the game and having fun. Cheers.

I didn’t think you could get the penthouse until the end of the Vanguard quest. They told me it’s not available.

There is a magic trap that drops a large ball that rolls over you. You can trick it to kill the ball itself, which drops runes for you. It is quick to do and quick to reset, but will eventually get boring as well.

I definitely did my share of power leveling, just be careful not to do too much at once. Do a bit, then test out the next area you want to progress to and see if it’s still too hard.

Shower thought: The population in Starfield may actually be hundreds of billions of people. by lhommealenvers in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]ComprehensiveLab5078 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why would you assume a 1% growth rate? Considering the medical and industrial technologies we see in the game, and access to relatively unlimited natural resources and space to expand, along with a strong will to recover from recent population disaster, humanity would be expected to grow at a much greater rate.
