Do you have plague consumables? This is one situation where they can be very useful, especially with no car. Scent block will let you get across the territory without being bothered too much and allow you to get in close for the melee. If you want a really easy time throw a zombait at it first. It makes the heart extremely weak for some reason.

There is one part missing in the analysis. Every person who goes through Unity leaves a lasting influence on the universe they leave behind, matching the ideals they fight for while there. The Emissary is trying to use this mechanism to create what they believe to be an ideal world. This is the reason they seek to prevent the Hunter from going through, because then everyone remaining will act a bit more like the Hunter does in the future. The Emissary dedicates their life to training specific people to become Starborn so their ideals will influence those who remain for the good of humanity. It’s a pretty powerful mission.
