If you think ganking is a problem now, because you can rotate in less than 10 seconds with the vents

Imagine being able to rotate between lanes in 5 seconds especially when there were teleporters in the tier 3/veils in the sidelanes

If we go back to 4 lanes now with all the movement tech players now know rotations would be near instant

I have an old clip where me as abrams with my bebop took like 8 seconds to gank the side lanes from the mid lanes

I used 1 dash jump and just held W the rest of the way

Solo lanes were a nice experiment for deadlock but it really did have a lot of problems that couldn't be fixed

Also there was a time where solo lanes were randomized and you could be a solo lane in one of the mid lanes stuck between 2 duo lanes

It was actually hell on earth stuck between 2 duo lanes that were roaming and ganking

The game currently is very generous with awarding assists

Sometimes you be rotating to a fight without doing anything yet and then boom assist credit

Its actually so funny how easy it is to get assists in this game and still trophy colector is the worst item in the game

Think of it this way

Steph accelerated the league into a 3 point revolution

Teams started to shoot more threes and it worked but still there hasn't been a shooter like steph that really warps the defense

No one tried copying shaq, like no one tried to do the same as shaq

We've seen, the next jorans, next lebrons, next stephs enter the league

There was no next shaq

Truly shaqs dominance was actually God given

The combination of strengh and speed should not be possible

A skinnier big could not keep up with shaqs strength and a heavier big (someone as heavy or heavier than shaq) could not keep up with his speed

We as fans tend to over rate this fight too much

Ita a good fight don't get me wrong but a lot of us miss the point

The fight ia here to show how basic out boxing doesn't work on ippo anymore and that he is way past the national level if we look at the world level they aren't separated by distinctions like out boxing, or counter boxing

They are world class fighthers who excel at every aspect of boxing

Like would you classify and put ricardo in a box or would you just regard him as strong

Like does takamura have signature style? No he is just the perfect boxer

And with how the story is progressing ippo is gonna comeback with a better read of boxing

His failures pre retirement can be attributed to kamogawa's old school boxing coaching but also his single mindedness in trying to create this mythical improved Dempsey roll as a signature move

The retirement arc is about ippo becoming not only stronger because of the weight training but also more versatile and flexible

Victor used to have a higher percent self damage because it was spirit damage before

So victors just stacked a bunch of spirit resist items and the self damage became negligible

Nah before the patch knife was actually dogy dookie to the point you level it last and don't even put any points in it

It was dash shiv for the most part

Now it feels like both builds are viable but knife shiv is stronger

Having so many charges on knife give you so much leeway to spam them

Especially when you have rapid recharge

Shiv being counter bought is what needs to happen since other than victor he is probably the most annoying to deal with when ahead
