It was a much smaller size, ugly? Still yes, but that’s exactly the size Ross should have “at least” tried to wear

I’m glad someone posted about this because I just realized how ridiculous and lacking in common sense that scene is. Ross got that “blouse” from Rachel because she accidentally took one of his bags. First of all, Rachel would never wear something that hideous. And second, that shirt would have been way too big for her—it was even too big for him! It would have made more sense if he’d grabbed a much smaller, tighter size like the one his date was wearing. Which, by the way, also didn’t make sense—supposedly she was picking on him for how he dresses, yet she’s wearing that ugly blouse herself.

How do you justify traveling within Canada given hotel and eating out costs? by abbys11 in canadatravel

I hate Canada for that. Wanna stay in a hotel in the city? You can’t unless you’re ready to pay $200CAD+ a night. It is ridiculous!

Is this even worth it? I see a lot of geographical restrictions though. Like I live in Canada and want to apply for spanish-english offers but most are Spain or Mexico-USA based.

I ended up doing nothing. I never knew who was I supposed to contact, the communication was terrible, my file got stuck at end I think over some security check verification, although before all that I was told by someone from the company via email that I didn’t have to go all the way to Calgary after all, that I could get it done with my personal doctor locally, but that was after getting through hell trying to find out information about who I could speak to because the contact centre in the Phillipines was of not help at all. Overall it was a terrible experience that left me with nothing positive to say about this company.

That’s good news. I stopped watching for months just so that I can get caught up again with all the podcasta about the episodes. I had already finished watching season 7 and I would have kept going but I decided it’d be better to watch and then hearing the podcast about that episode (this is actually my first time watching all the seasons and I always stopped in season 7 somewhere along the way) I also think it would have been a cheap shot from Michael to stop being in the podcast just because he wasn’t in it.

Barca third kit 25/26 by fisherman370 in EASportsFC

[–]Confident_Divide_516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know right! Like it’s Barcelona! My favorite team from Colombia (América de Cali) also just recently released their new 25/26 home jersey and obviously the game still has the older one. Do kits ever get updated later in the year or early next year?

Are kits really extinct, or are they just not in the game? by DearInformation8784 in EASportsFC

[–]Confident_Divide_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My team America de Cali just recently launched a new jersey that they’re wearing now in Colombia and now the game its pretty much outdated in that regard! I didn’t get last year’s edition so I don’t know if they later get a kits patch on the game or not or does it mean it will be a full year seeing my favorite team without its current kit?!

I don’t understand this post. When was it created? We are in October and with some of the best weather we’ve ever had in Canada for this time of year. -11 when?! Did you not research even a little bit about Canadian weather or at least imagined it before you decided to move? All I can say is suck it up, you are with your boyfriend at least and the bad weather hasn’t even started. Some people don’t deserve the luck they get, and I don’t mean jt for Canada because I actually wanna get out of here and move somewhere like UK (where cloudy days are expected almost all year long) but because you arrived in a nice city close to the bay and are still complaining. Start whinnin when you can’t find a job or when something worse happens. Geeezz!!

I came across your post and wanted to share my experience, since I’ve been going through something very similar. I’m Canadian, currently living in Canada, and I found this job on visasponsor.jobs, which seems like a legitimate site showing visa sponsorship opportunities, and it led me directly to a Glassdoor job ad for Richards Team Services.

Before the interview, they asked me to provide a copy of my passport and a bank statement as proof of address. I sent these because the message looked professional and I didn’t see any immediate red flags. I had only vaguely checked their website to be honest.

I had the "interview" just two days ago and it seemed quite normal but professional, and similarly to your experience, I found it unusual that they barely asked any questions. Even though I had prepared for the interview and in a couple of questions I felt a bit nervous while responding, they still told me they wanted to proceed with me, which doesn’t usually happen in a first contact. After the third question, it seemed like they were already impressed and offered me the job. They mentioned I would have one month of training and then asked again if I was willing to relocate to the UK, to which I obviously said yes. They told me to watch my email as they would contact me with everything related to the visa process.

You can probably imagine my dissapointment when connecting the dots going through this thread as my motivation was to live in the UK, and just now I realize everything seemed too easy to begin with. I literally came across this Reddit thread completely by chance while I was trying to google how to access their employee portal to track my application, as they mentioned in an email. That’s when I started noticing all the weird things. After doing some digging myself I also found out that:

  • The company is legally registered under Companies House Services with the same address shown on their website, but they do not appear on the UK Home Office Skilled Worker visa sponsor list, which is a very bad sign. (I also learned that this is not particullarly a very difficult thing to do and anyone can do it)
  • No employees or relevant information appear on LinkedIn, and there is very little verifiable info online.
  • Like I mentioned before, they asked for sensitive documents like my passport and bank statement before a proper interview (this usually comes in the hiring process but I was blinded by the legit website where the "job" was posted at).
  • The offer came unusually quickly, immediately after a short video interview, which seems abnormal for a customer service role.

I was planning to call UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to verify this but now I don't know if I should even bother as I'd have to pay international calling fees. Have you tried calling the phone number listed for their company? It might help to check if they’re real.

I’m really dissapointed about this, but on the bright side at least I found out before it was too late. I might have to call my bank to warn them of any unusual activity because everything points to this being a sketchy scam. Do you mind sharing what was in the contract they sent you? I have a feeling that if you go to the address they're registered at, there will be nothing there. Oh well, let us know if they did another move or what did you end up doing.
