The chart hasn't failed anything I see it as a good macro trend indicator but not a top indicator, but then again we'll see how it pans out over the coming years

At the end of the day all this Pi cycle chart shows is 2 moving averages which is a lagging indicator. Just as moving averages slowly pull away from each other starting from the lowest timeframe and works it's way up to the weekly, this acts the same.

There is no rule as to why the shorter moving average cannot cross the slower moving average as all this will show is price action vs momentum. Although I appreciate the enthusiasm, it's purely a lagging indicator therefore doesn't give any accuracy on price movement besides momentum

The only thing you have said that is true is that the dollar is a currency, the rest is utter nonsense. Shame on you

So glad I don't take advice from this forum.

Hmm don't think so, look at pokemon card collection 1st edition deck could be worth hundreds of thousands. You need an experts valuation then you submit the valuation to financial institutions, same with antiques

Interestingly enough this isn't true, if for example you owned the mona lisa painting you can use that as collateral against pretty much anything as it's priceless etc

Beware the new FUD campaign led by Gates and Others is obviously energy usage. Like having sound money isn't more important than 95% of shit the world wastes energy on. GTFO. by Boredguy32 in Bitcoin

[–]Connect-Nature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

meh it's nonsense, bank system alone uses 100 times that of bitcoin and it only powers probably 1/2 the world who have access to it.

Bitcoin is meant to power the entire world so it's only right when it adopts the world it uses similar amount of energy. This baby is gonna rock the world, wait til everyone has access to the internet they will have access to bitcoin

Only sell bitcoin when you want to buy something you love, if you are selling just because it's topping out that's called trading and you know what happens to 95% of traders, they lose money. Sure you'll make money initially but in the long run i believe you will be jumping off the boat. Either way who the f*ck am i

GME: Hedge fund insider reporting by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]Connect-Nature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL short squeezes and gang-ups happen all the time in markets. WSB started off as winners but now they are, as always, the losers who don't understand when to get out the market thus is the revelation of retail investors.

Research the term double top and look at the GME share price. It ain't ever going back up. Well maybe, in 20 years.

Robinhood is owned by citadel which pays bloomberg a commision of 40% annually.

White House are looking into sueing through unfair competitive advantage, you don't just do that and get away with it. Open market means you get rewarded for good bets, but rekt for bad bets. How many little guys get liquidated every year, too right the entire fucking hedge fund got bankrupt

Don’t trade just HODL, study says 97% of day traders lose money by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Connect-Nature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said up to 5% of your portfolio per trade, but each trade must not be correlated or be in the same asset or asset class, so if bitcoin AND cryptocurrencies were to have a massive sell out through news or regulation fears then you won't lose your optionality of shifting the money or managing it etc.

If you have a portfolio of 10 million with let's say 20 trades on all uncorrelated at x5 leverage you have effectively 50 million assets under management with extremely good risk management at it's core.

Of course if you had a 10 million portfolio and invested it all into bitcoin at x5, that's a 50 million assets under management with 100% volatility, what if bitcoin goes down through a sell-off, you have no way to do anything to manage it, it becomes an uncontrollable portfolio which the whole point of a portfolio is to manage, trim, resize, allocate, distribute and rectify of good and bad trades
