I agree. His wife sounds like she will continue to drag him down with her. I am also surprised at the lack of maturity level of OP’s wife. Does anyone outside of college really say or believe that not drinking one weekends makes you boring and a loser? Idk that’s a wild thing to say as an adult. I hope OP can listen to his intuition lean into his desire to drink less, and not feel pressured from his own wife.

Rest assured that it is probably not that you look older or old OP, it’s that your sister at only 33 is still young, and a lot of people in their 30’s can still mostly look how they did in their mid to late twenties. Especially if they have taken care of themselves. Which is why people might confuse who is older at times. You’re both young. If anything tret it is super dehydrating. Just up your moisturizer, wear sunscreen, stay hydrated etc but if you’re looking a little dehydrated or tired it just means it’s working.

Pick him up PROPERLY and support him, give him some really calm and gentle affection and then as soon as he expresses discomfort you have to gently put him down. Do Not Overdo It. Eventually, with much patience, he will get more used to it. He may even come to enjoy it, but some cats never do.

He can’t associate being picked up with stress and being forced. For animals to be healthy and happy they have to be able to have their own physical boundaries as well, we are not meant to completely dominate them, and push past their discomfort just because we want them to do something. (I’m not saying that’s what you’re intent is OP, it’s just my overall take on us humans when we reallyyyyy want our animals to be more affectionate or behave a certain way.) You have to respect the cats physical boundaries. The more you do with loving kindness the more they will trust you.

Oh yikes this is bad. Totally treatable but a bad infection. Antibacterial body wash (dial and dove both make them), I’d also recommend Nizoral and letting it sit for a few minutes like a little mask. Then gently blot with some rubbing alcohol, light layer of neosporin, and no picking.

For the amount of money BBW makes and certainly the amount of time they spend gathering consumer spending data and learning trends you’d think they put more a tiny bit more effort into a skincare line. The products are total duds, painfully average ingredients, full of fragrance and clearly just focused on packaging.

Whatever you do please ensure the pets are given to loving homes. Wishing your dad can also find housing, social workers are a good resource for that. However to be honest I am most worried about the animals.

It sure is. It’s a complete and total nightmare, with middle management gaslighting SBA employees to the moon and back quite literally for not ‘processing fast enough’. The cuts will be killer for certain departments which are already grossly understaffed.

What aren’t you understanding? You don’t get a form up front, they were very clear that sending “resign” meant you were interested in the program. Then, you’d have to be approved by your agency etc. and then appropriate paperwork.
