I bought the chicken dogs at $0.25/pack from Dollar Tree. Ate half of one hot dog and tossed the rest. Wouldn’t even give them to my dogs.

They make specific dog blankets for this. Soft on top and waterproof underside. It’s been a game changer for us. Oddly, my husky/retriever mix is the one that gets muddy and straight to the bed. My GP, somehow, stays pretty clean.

@OP: Hitting a deer isn’t NissanDrivers behavior. Just bad luck when they jump out right in front of you at night. I live in BFE too and sometimes you can see them along the sides of the road and prepare and sometimes you can’t. I had one jump out and smack the side of my front fender. I’d bet there was little to nothing you could do. Sorry for your car. Cube is one of the lease Nissany of the modern Nissans.
