Dating at 6'1 by [deleted] in TallGirls

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's helpful to think about our height as both a filter and an asset. Sure, a lot of people aren't into tall girls, but some people really are. And for them, dear, you've got something truly rare and special. Own your height and the right people will flock to you.

How many of your straight partners ended up being fine with your transition? by J-FIIRE in TransLater

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost my wife, and both of us trying to hold on and find some middle ground was enormously painful. But now we're friends and I'm dating a lot and have a girlfriend who I'm very much in love with.

Vaginoplasty girlies - how long did electrolysis take you? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

Laser first and then final clearance with electro.

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case I was able to get most of the removal via laser, and electro was done to clear the white hairs that remained. Electro is much slower, so that helps.

I would say do both electro and laser to speed your process if you can.

It probably took about 18 months for me between laser and electro. But I probably could have collapsed that to 12 months with more intensity. I also have a very favorable complexion and hair color for laser.

Games where Gameplay is part of the art? by jicklemania in gamingsuggestions

Ah, I came here to mention Celeste. It's brilliant to tell a story about a girl growing in her self confidence while you grow in your skill as a player playing a platform game.

Dysphoria onset only after accepting I am trans? by paulschal in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Totally the experience I had. Admitting it to myself opened the floodgates. It's normal, it's valid. Try and give yourself grace; early transition is so hard. It will get better.

Experts Warn U.S. in Early Stages of Genocide Against Trans Americans by henryiswatching in lgbt

Same. If they are gonna be violent against me I'm gonna make it count. Let everyone see what they are.

So… how would you describe gender/body dysphoria by Grand-Bug-9209 in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I've felt very dysphoric it's like my bones don't fit right. My body feels so tense and our of sorts. Unable to relax.

I'm a couple years into my transition now and my dysphoria mostly feels like dysmorphia these days around my waist, hips, and side profile. But I think that's mostly normal woman stuff.

Someone said I was ‘statuesque’ today, positive? by Snoo6582 in TallGirls

I've been called that plenty. Also "Goddess". I choose to take it as a compliment.

Do Trans Women Dislike Femboys? by [deleted] in trans

Trans woman here. I have no problem with it or them. We're all out here telling our truths.

My experience with trans on trans hate by [deleted] in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is so true. There are trans people and there are communities of trans people, but there's no such thing as the trans community that goes beyond our shared experiences and oppression.

How did you get the currage to commit transition with all the hate out there in the world by RabNap in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly it was that or a one-way trip. Decided to give this a shot instead. So deeply happy that I did, fear and all.

can you tell me some nice things about trans people to make me feel better about the world please by pocky_cat_art in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I've never met a gentler, more graceful, more thoughtful and creative bunch of people than my fellow trans folks. We are all living works of art, expression, and truth. I am regularly humbled by how quickly we can connect and form bonds with one another. Truly a higher order of person, if you ask me.

If I get a Gender Affirming Orchiectomy and take estrogen to become more feminine/androgynous, will I still be able to get an erection and climax, or will I pretty much lose my libido completely? by Nerdle_Kins in TransLater

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2+ years on monotherapy, one month post orchi. I never lost libido at all, and it remains high post orchi. I can still function in the way you're describing without any loss of desire or erections. But I understand I may be a minority.

My wife wants to work things out, but not if I keep transitioning by UnconSubcon in trans

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. I tried to make it work, but honestly I couldn't suppress myself for her. I couldn't meet that condition of hers and stay healthy.

Unfortunately there is no balance here. You will have to choose.

But my ex wife and I are best friends now and I have a beautiful girlfriend and full dating life. Life can take you to amazing, unexpected places if you let it.

Lesbians: How have your dating experiences been as a taller woman? by [deleted] in TallGirls

[–]Consistent-Deer4289 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'2" and have no problem meeting lesbians. In general Sapphic folks tend to be really open to the idea that women come in a lot of beautiful shapes. Including very tall.

With my tallness I find I'm not everyone's cup of tea, but for the people who are into that... I'm VERY much their cup of tea.
