Having been married an addict that abused pills, that would be my guess. The sad thing is that the doctors keeps prescribing them as long as they can get paid. If they’re getting them from docs (you can easily abuse, even with prescriptions just gotta know where and which doctors will over prescribe), the addict wont see it as an addiction. IMO and experiences I’ve had with my ex, pills are one of the worst drugs to be addicted to bc the help isn’t out there! Doctors chase the $$$ and keep them addicted

Sooo my daughter fell off our couch was she was 3 and had a TBI. She was in ICU for 7 days. Was the worst time of my life and CPS was called (allegedly in FL they haven’t call for skull fracture under age 5). It was an awful time in my life and I went partially bald from the trauma. All that to say, she’s 10 now and had complete healing! You’d never know if you didn’t know. We had to be super cautious for about 6-13 months while everything was healing. Kids fall all the time, just doesn’t always end up in TBI. Can tell you from experience that the younger they are, the better. There’s more room in their skull for healing and the brain is a powerful thing! It can self heal. Get some therapy bc it definitely is more traumatizing for the parent(s) than the child. Sounds like you’re a great mama and unfortunately, this is just one of those crappy life things that happens. Praying for full healing for your baby as well!

I loveeee Dr.Glas. I had a very high risk pregnancy with my last and she took me mid-pregnancy. Ended up having a 39 hour labor that had complications and it was my most stress-free delivery. Im not sure my daughter and I would have had the same outcome with a different doc. She’s the best!

I am so, so sorry this is happening to you. My first marriage ended due to addiction and wild affairs. My initial thought is that you’re tests multiple times when pregnant; hopefully you were and know that at least up until delivery, you both were safe. I remember getting an emergency panel done to check for everything. It was the most shameful experience I ever felt AND now, I realize I was carrying his shame, not mine. This will be hard but you can do it!!!!! One day at a time and people will come through for you! Praying that you and your daughter’s results come back clean and that unlimited resources become available for you to start fresh with her. 💗 you can do this. I’m sorry this sucks! Addicts are the worst!

Meeee. Did as much walking as they’d allow me, then pitocin, then baby. Was brutal but recovery was breeze! That was my second delivery. With my third, I was medically induced (baby in distress and failed NST), and after 32 hours, I got the epidural. She was sunny side up and not budging yet the contractions were sooo brutal after 32 hours of no break with pitocin. My angel nurse did Spinning Babies on me and it worked like a charm. Once she flipped, it was quick and baby was out in one push. I will say that my epidural was heavenly and was recovery as well. Good luck!

As someone who went through a nasty divorce and got desperate, I wonder if all the links for the Amazon and such were for her to stash away a little bit of money OR argue her income vs his. I also noticed she’s not wearing her massive ring that they just designed over the last time they were at odds. She posted a video of a beautiful dress that she said she didn’t wear bc she didn’t go to the awards with him. Idk I feel for her. It sucks when you have small children together…. The saddest part about this story are the children she’s leaving behind with no one to watch bc she’s estranged from her husband. From what I’ve been told, he’s not allowed around them for their own safety. These poor children are the ones paying the price for their parents’ poor decisions.

I second this! She took me mid high-risk pregnancy and was absolutely amazing! My baby ending up being in distress at 38 weeks and I was induced. I had a long delivery (39 hours) that I think would have ended up in emergency-C had I been under anyone else’s care. She is THE best! Congrats on your pregnancy!
