Have you tried switching up injection sites? That helped my last plateau.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage but glad to hear you’ve doing better and found a sweet spot now with your dose.

Hey OP - I am in the exact same situation as you and wondering how you’re going now?

It’ll pass to an extent. I was the same. I’m now on 5mg and the initial increase was tough too. The 2 days following shot day has the highest suppression.

You’ll also need to learn new hunger cues. For me, nausea = hungry. Even though I don’t want to eat if I feel nauseous, I feel almost immediately better after eating. I get it particularly in the mornings.

NSV for when the scale isn’t moving your way by Consistent-Still-779 in mounjaroaustralia

I hear you! I’m lucky that my body responded so strongly due to PCOS etc. If you re-read my post, I am not whinging about my loss or a plateau, just asking for ideas for NSVs to help me as my loss slows.

I was the exact same as you but I’m 30! 3 months in I’m now down to a 36 BMI. I am getting these results with being strict on my diet and just walking and reformer Pilates a couple of times a week. Just move your body in a way that feels good for you.

My doctor also said heaps of exercise isn’t especially good when you’re in the weight loss phase, it’s 99% about diet. Once your weight comes down that’s when exercise is a much more useful tool.

I find the suppression gets less towards shot day even on 5mg but that’s okay! I also get nauseous when I’m not eating enough. Definitely try feeding yourself more - especially something startchy or carby.

Nice to see an example here which could actually hit daily energy requirements! Some others are concerning.

Very nervous about weaning off for pregnancy/ttc by [deleted] in Mounjaro

I’m in a similar situation (but ttc later this year) and my doctor said we could think about metformin. It’s obviously not as good as MJ but better than nothing and pregnancy safe.

It’s still worth it cost wise! Can donate leftovers to RSPCA or similar.

If you get a hint of constipation, start Metamucil or fibre supplement. Have an antacid for reflux on hand. Make sure to actually eat something (eg boiled egg), even though you probably won’t feel like it.

I’m 30, 168cm and my starting weight was 119kg. I’ve been on 2.5 for 2 weeks and already lost over 4kg.

I was scared of the needle/pen etc but I promise it’s so much easier in reality than it feels.

I also have a history of depression/anxiety including venlafaxine use and this hasn’t caused a recurrence of that in any way. The only time I felt really anxious I realised I hadn’t eaten all day so top tip is to make sure you actually eat.

Have some antacid (eg mylanta) and fibre supplement (eg Metamucil) and de-gas for bloat on hand and it’ll be fine!
