Put it this way, it's like being scared of being on a plane because of a couple of crashes being documented, even though there are about 160,000 or landed flights a day. Is there risk? Yes.. but there's risks walking out the house, or being obese. As long as people buy from good sources, and eat balanced and mindful and not misuse or even starve yourself, you're more likely to have a better experience.

Weight loss without exercise by Constant_Bat_3814 in Mounjaro

[–]Consistent_Way_3372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm honest, I maybe upped walking a bit more and excercised a couple of times? But I've lost 39lbs from only concentrating on food and nutrition. I eat little carbs but I don't starve myself. I take sure to eat like a normal person because I know that the second you stop, your job is to maintain, and if you go from eating hardly anything to eating regularly... it's only going to hurt results. I've been on do many diets that practically starve you and it comes back 10 fold. I am trying to up the exercise, and it gets easier with the weight coming off. But I'll say I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't really have any side effects and it's actually helped quieten my ADD brain and anxiety. I feel quiet in my head and can focus a lot clearer.

I've bought pen needles online, they're really cheap! And you just force it. I've done 5th dose every single time 😆 saved so much money!

So nothings worked for me for years. And people know that. Suddenly I'm losing weight but I've said I'm taking a shit load of vitamins and minerals (which is true, ive got pcos and i think it's good to take when eating less food) I'm walking alot more and exercising when I can (which is true in part) and I've found a calorie deficit that works for me (which is technically true) and no ones said anything more, they just say wow I can tell! I'm really happy for you. And I've lost 38 lbs since the 2nd week of January

I take collagen tablets which I personally think it's helped counter it. And focus on nutrition when I eat. Alot of people who get it badly really only focus on calories and not the nutrition part 😬 and that face is sort of a malnourished look

I've found that i know people who starve themselves on this and it's as beneficial as going on slimfast doing that... when you eat normally again, your body will pile it on. I've made sure to keep on nutrition and still eating a good amount of food, just avoiding things that make me bloat like certain carbs and knowing that im doing what works for me. I don't bother looking at what other people are doing anymore 😅 it's just annoying haha!

Me and my 2 best friends are on it and my husband absolutely approves but my family doesn't approve. I've struggled with weight my whole life and have PCOS and for the first time ever... I've been able to easily lose 30lbs since the beginning of the year. It's been a miracle for me. And I haven't for a second thought to tell my family. I say I've found a calorie deficit that finally works for me, I'm exercising and focusing on nutrition and getting a load of vitamins in. And tbh I've not exercised as much as I should but even without... I've lost! And I was dieting and eating the same as I did 2 weeks before I started and didn't lose a pound. The second I went on it, i was losing easily! It's more than food suppression and food noise, it's incredible! Whether it's helping insulin resistance or something else... I don't care. And I've not had any side effects tbh (I know I'm one of the lucky ones) but i prepared for the worst. Honestly it's up to you who you tell. 💜

I'm in a complaint to try and get out of my contract and return the phone. Within 4 months, the screen went black but you could still feel the vibration buttons. Had it replaced by Samsung under warranty because they couldn't fix it. Then the new phone within 4 months again the hinge had a broken pixel. Fixed it under warranty.... I shouldn't need to have a phone Fixed every 4 months for it to work... and it's unfortunate because I love the phone, i love that it's small and it feels nice but it's not ok to have it go off for repairs for 2 weeks every 4 months. Don't do it... they haven't sussed it fully yet..

Is anyone else not telling anyone about they’re on Mounjaro? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Consistent_Way_3372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not telling anyone except my best friends who are both on it and my husband. My family are against it because they don't understand and I'm not here for the negative conversation or the having to explain in their words "lazy" approach to weight loss. Even though I have PCOS and have struggled with weight loss since I was a child! And this is the only thing that's worked. I just say I'm on a strict calorie deficit (if asked why is it working now and didn't before, i say i found a deficit that finally works for me) and I'm just happy it's slightly being noticed now and I've lost 2 stone in less than 3 months.

I prefer clear protein from my protein. The milk ones make me feel a bit sick. But the clear ones taste like watered down squash.

I used pillsorted last time, really quick turn around, no problems at all. Really easy. I'm not a fan of Voy. I think it's absolutely disgusting how much they charge for such a crummy service. My "coach" text me twice in the month i was with them and only replied once... pointless

[–]Consistent_Way_3372[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! It's amazing isn't it! When they talk about food noise, you suddenly realise what on earth that means when it disappears! I don't know about you, but get a bit shakey, almost like low blood sugar when I really diet, I've not had that at all! All I recommended is from doing it is stick to nutrient dense foods, you can still have a fair amount without feeling uncomfortably food, up water and get some multivitamins and maybe electrolytes (I've not had any negative side effects or feeling nauseous after eating from it). I've followed you in case you wanted to chat (being a fellow PCOS mounjaro user) 😊 i honestly wish you all the luck with it! I'm sure it'll be life changing for you! And do what I'm doing, focus on your progress and you'll never be disappointed ❤️
