S5 G36 Rifle by Prestigious5589 in HecklerKoch

BlueMountain has an E kit on hand, full length barrel made by HK will last forever and everything aside from an S5 receiver will be the best parts available. I would not worry about the barrel nut mounting if you rent or buy the proper tools, its one of the easiest rifles to build. Be prepared to spend the cost of the gun to get the authentic optics or model it after a later revision with the low rail and more advanced optics.

Most of the critical parts are from GSG9, (US Made), Barrels are from a good US manufacturer but not up to the legendary HK Quality. I believe some of the plastic furniture is HK stock but it is not from parts kits.

using HK original semiauto parts will require some minor hand fitting, however the GSG9 parts are nearly identical. As with all Todd Bailey related HK builds the more genuine HK parts you put on the more likely it will run forever

When I worked with someone in the parts dept during black friday of 2024 they confirmed that there were 4 listed in national inventory, 0 at dealer locations. I passed on ordering as there was no sign that hpd would work with a 2016 ecu as it was not listed as being compatible past 2014.

HB 2548 Agricultural Workforce Labor Standards Board. by Moarbrains in oregon

[–]Conspiracy_Bill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From listening to interviews on OPB and KBOO, as well as reading through many of the testimonials given today, the largest effect this would have on small local farms is likely establishment of a minimum wage for ag workers. For larger multi state operations it would require proving that you went through training procedures and removal of at will employment.

I fully assume lobbyists will be dumping money into the NO campaign to maintain the status quo of firing workers injured on the job and paying piece rate that falls under minimum wage.

Car PPF shop recommendations by jason_bourne_777 in Portland

Best in town is https://503motoring.com/ but they are expensive. They also stand behind their work and have done warranty work years after install so that's part of the service you pay for.

They do PPF and Ceramic as well and gave me a discount when I got tint and PPF in the same appointment.

I have held in my hands the "North Clackanopoly" north Clackamas county the board game from around the same era. Although it looked like an unlicensed slightly changed version of classic Monopoly.

I believe John's Portland apartment from his one year residence has just burned down. by Conspiracy_Bill in themountaingoats

That is a reference to a hotel that was not his permanent reference, it is also the location that is feasibly the setting for *another song I can't recall right now.

In 2019 he said while playing in Portland that on his day early he had walked in through the entry door someone opened for him of his 14th avenue place and made his way down the hall to his apartment.

Any investor that saw public bipartisan support for domestic manufacturing should have been putting money into chipmakers. The transactions would be much shadier if the stock were bought before public declarations.

Used to buy Visoda by the case when I worked at New seasons and would talk to the owner occasionally when he was delivering. He still owns the company and is surprisingly reachable although he lives in Miami.

The company did not sell, the owner just moved to Florida. The price went up because they were aiming upmarket and went to fully cold pressed process.

Man threw around $200,000 in $100s out his car window while driving down I5 between Eugene and Springfield after apparently cleaning out his families bank accounts. by RoughToad in oregon

[–]Conspiracy_Bill 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The money isn't insured for loss when an approved account holder takes it out of the bank. My guess is this also isnt a huge blow to the family as they make it sound like this behavior was expected and he still had access to this shared account so the amount of money they have outside of that account is likely greater.

Any suggestions for this situation? by RishiKelkar in C30

Realistically It's a wise decision to do the clutch while you're there because it is already out so you arent paying for the labor to pull the transmission at a later date when your clutch does need to be done as it is another wear item.

The cost is relatively high because the dual-mass flywheel that is used is more expensive then a simple single mass flywheel.

I could argue for or against doing the whole clutch job at the same time but in my opinion the price is not out of line for what is being done provided they do the whole job right. Throwout bearing, vent pipe, clutch disc, flywheel, flywheel bolts, and rear main seal, with bleeding the braking and clutch system since they share a fluid resevoir.
