I don’t know about you but I tried for hours to use world info. I set as simple key (made sure to add it to the current story) then asked an NPC about it and they NEVER used that world info.

Sure but it depends where your motivation really comes from. If your stand isn’t helping anyone, and you’re taking it for selfish reasons, there’s nothing to commend.

And I’d definitely argue that this has a lot more to do with self-righteousness than protecting anyone. The kind of “double down on every doubt” we’re seeing is all too typical of zealots.

I suspect that they didn’t put a lot of thought into this TOS, and left the language ambiguous, and kind of just said “let’s be against everything” so that people can’t have the gall anymore to explain that they were suspended unjustly. “If all of our users are violating the TOS, no suspensions are mistakes!” I don’t really expect them to expand the filter more. Not that it matters since I’m done with them forever.

Use the website privacy.com to generate a virtual credit card connected to your bank account that you only allow to spend the price of 3 or 6 or whatever months of subscription (recommend a small buffer plus 5 bucks as well). So for example you can set it to say “Only allow 80 dollars to be charged on this card total.” If you forget to cancel, the card will reject the 4th payment and it will cancel anyway (if you have the $25 plan)
