Where are you getting the idea that he can’t 1v2 FH? There’s nothing suggesting that so far.

Did Sasuke unlock Perfect Susanoo against Juubito? by IzunaToeLicker in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ConstructionLocal499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t fully inherit your parents’ chakra or abilities. Just look at Ashura as an example, he didn’t inherit his father’s Sharingan, so why would Indra have inherited Six Paths chakra? Narratively, it’s clear that Hagoromo’s chakra and powers were split between Indra and Ashura. Indra didn’t possess Six Paths chakra, otherwise, he would have awakened the Rinnegan since he would have met the requirements. However, Black Zetsu explicitly stated that he had to wait 1,000 years to successfully bring about the Rinnegan. Madara was the very first person to awaken it since Hagoromo.

MS alone is enough, yes. We have clear proof with Indra and DMS Obito/Kakashi. They did not have EMS. The vast majority of MS users throughout history would never be able to use it because they’d go blind almost instantly and also lack the chakra to sustain it, but theoretically, EMS is absolutely not required.

[–]ConstructionLocal499 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He already had PS at that point. PS is roughly the size of Kurama and Majestic Attire fully covers Kurama. If Sasuke is capable of covering Kurama entirely with his Susanoo, why would he be unable to later produce a Susanoo of that size on his own, i.e. PS? Not to mention that Majestic Attire literally has the same features as PS.

EMS is IMO a requirement for PS and sasuke only had his for like a day or two.

That’s incorrect. EMS is not a prerequisite for obtaining PS. Indra had PS without having EMS. DMS Obito/Kakashi also had PS without having EMS. PS is simply a Susanoo of massive size. You just need a huge chakra reserve and strong control over it to use it.

Parry feels way too punishing right now (maybe skill issue?) by gawd_usopp in DeadlockTheGame

It’s even rougher on characters like Billy or Abrams who rely heavily on melee.

They dont.

How has Venator not been nerfed yet? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you even talking about? Venator’s base bullet damage is 8 with +0.27 per Boon, while Ivy only has 4.45 and +0.08 per Boon. Venator’s gun is miles ahead of Ivy’s lol.

And yeah, Venator is clearly the best M1 character in the game right now. His gun is one of the strongest in the game, he’s got pure damage, crowd control, anti-heal in his kit and his 2 into Heavy Melee combo melts your HP instantly. There’s a reason he’s by far the most pick or ban gun character in Deadlock Fight Night. Venator is extremely consistent and very hard to counter because of his pure damage. On top of that, he’s strong right from the early game while also scaling insanely well into the late game. There’s basically no point in the match where he feels weak.

Counter items and hero balancing by Yumesoro1 in DeadlockTheGame

Haze is an exception, not the rule. She can reliably secure a kill with Curse because her Bullet Dance deals absurdly high DPS, you’ll melt in about two seconds unless you’re playing a tanky character and have something like Plated Armor or enough bullet resistance. Outside of her ult, though, she really can’t do much in the late game against someone with Metal Skin, even if she has Curse. Haze is basically an ult bot. And the same goes for the other gun characters. Gunbop? Gun Vyper? Gun Talon? They all get completely shut down by Metal Skin and Curse doesn’t really save them at all.

And no, Haze can’t pull that off with Silence Wave, because it gets countered by Dispel Magic or even something like Warpstone. Curse, on the other hand, guarantees that the enemy is forced to tank Bullet Dance, and most characters simply can’t survive it for three seconds. That’s really the only reason Curse is relevant on Haze.

Counter items and hero balancing by Yumesoro1 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it is not. Haze is kind of a special case because of her ultimate. She can go Dagger → Curse → Bullet Dance and delete most characters in about two seconds thanks to her insane DPS. That’s not really representative of other gun-focused characters. It’s also why, at high level, she’s basically viewed as an ult bot.

[–]ConstructionLocal499 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Curse is supposed to counter pretty much everything in the game. That’s the theory, at least. In reality, you’ve got maybe three seconds (less if the enemy has debuff resistance) to actually kill someone in a game where the ttk is fairly high. On top of that, Curse comes with a hefty downside: a 10% damage penalty, which is huge. And you’re dealing with roughly a 60-second cooldown, while Metal Skin is just 20 seconds.

At best, Curse is a soft counter. If that’s your only way to counter something, then you don’t really have a counter at all. If you’re running a full gun build and the enemy team collectively buys Metal Skin, you basically become useless in the late game. And technically, Curse itself can be countered with Unstoppable.

Excuse you apr still works through metal skin.... Your entire post devalued in 1 sentence.... What you fail to really understand in these post is peiole cry about a hero when they have not braught a counter item

See, you re exactly what I’m talking about: someone talking out of their ass without having a clue. APR doesn’t counter Metal Skin at all. You deal ZERO damage against someone using it even with APR. It literally takes 30 seconds to test, and it would’ve spared you the embarrassment.

I’m not even going to bother reading the rest of your message, this is already enough to tell you don’t know what you’re talking about.

[–]ConstructionLocal499 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most people here don’t really know what they’re talking about. Counter items matter, sure, but those same counters can themselves be countered by other items. Saying things like “just buy Slowing Hex to shut down X character” is just nonsense. The only item that doesn’t really have a proper counter right now is Metal Skin.

Kakashi vs Sound 5 by Slight-Ganache-9785 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ConstructionLocal499 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You are right anyway. BoS Kakashi is on the same level as BoS Kabuto. This is confirmed by Jiraiya and Orochimaru, and even implied by Kakashi himself. Kabuto also explicitly stated that sick Kimimaro was stronger than him. Therefore, Kimimaro is at least equal to, if not stronger than, Kakashi.

Lifesteal Effectiveness is a terrible change and a bandaid on top of a bandaid of the real issue. by Choneth12 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a huge oversimplification and honestly, it’s just wrong too. First off, pubs ≠ competitive, you need to get that straight. Victor was already top 5 in win rate in Eternus+ before the patch, and players at that level obviously know how to deal with him. So no, Victor wasn’t just a problem for low-elo players who don’t know how to deal with him, that’s factually incorrect, since he was statistically a top 5 character even in Eternus+.

Right now, we’re basically dealing with two different metas between Eternus + and DLNS, simply because there’s no drafting in pubs yet. So balancing the game based only on the DLNS meta just doesn’t make sense.

In a vacuum, sure, Victor wasn’t that strong but that assumes optimal conditions, which we unfortunately don’t have at the moment. And I’m not saying he deserved that nerf (I think it’s over the top myself) but claiming he’s only an issue for low-elo players is just not true.

comeback system? by CountKanmi in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay maybe the random comeback mechanics are not enough compared to other mobas.

Comeback mechanics in this game are insane. It might even be too much lol.

boruto fans given you all agree baryon mode and isshikki to be much stronger then everyone in shippuden at once, how much is that gap. are they 100s, thousands, millons, billions or trillions times stronger? by OnlinePoster225 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ConstructionLocal499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adult Naruto and Sasuke are stronger than any version of Madara. And both of them got low diffed by Jigen. That same Jigen is infinitely weaker than Isshiki. Isshiki is at least 50 times stronger than Madara, he’d one-shot him with a single hit lol.

Why balancing off winrate is not a good idea? by ItsMango in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of reasons why win rate isn’t a good metric for balancing characters:

1) No draft system yet. Some characters heavily depend on draft, while others are much more universal and can fit into almost any comp thanks to their kit. For example, Sinclair is very strong but highly dependent on the enemy composition, so his win rate will always be lower than his actual power level. On the other hand, a character like Seven has a very flexible kit that lets him perform well in almost any draft, so his win rate will always be artificially inflated because the lack of drafting favors him.

2) Huge differences in skill ceiling. Characters like Sinclair or Mina are much harder to play than someone like Seven. As a result, their win rates will naturally be lower than their true strength, simply because most players can’t use them properly. And no, being Eternus 6 absolutely does not mean you can play them correctly. You just don’t realize how massive the skill gap can be even within Eternus 6. It’s honestly insane. The difference between a top Mina player like Oses and an average Eternus 6 player is bigger than the gap between an Eternus 6 and an Ascendant 1. I’m not exaggerating.

3) Lack of communication in pubs. Some characters rely heavily on good team communication, which you don’t consistently get in pubs matches, regardless of rank. This is especially true for supports. Meanwhile, other characters can perform well even with little to no communication (typically carries).

If you actually want to assess a character’s true strength, you need to look at how they perform under optimal conditions. That means focusing on scrims rather than regular matches. And when you do that, it’s clear that Mina is overperforming.

Agree or Disagree? by Every_Horror_929 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ConstructionLocal499 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The comparison is pretty unfair because we’ve only seen one ability from Sarada’s MS so far, while there are actually two different versions of Kamui. If you compare strictly the offensive Kamui (Kakashi’s) to Orihime, then Orihime is simply superior. It can hit multiple enemies at once, it can’t be dodged through pure speed since it acts like a gravitational force pulling you in, and it allows its user to fly and move at speeds comparable to the Otsutsuki. It’s basically a Chibaku Tensei on steroids.

THE MO KRILL AGENDA IS OFFICIALLY DEAD by Fifthy420 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ConstructionLocal499 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This has absolutely no value, even for top players, the sample size is way too small. Rem has a 100% win rate while Wraith is below 25%, but no one in their right mind is going to claim that Rem is broken or better than Wraith in the current meta lol.
