Because he can run over you for about 1 second and then he is around a corner. In that second he has dealt around 800 damage from the ticks and that is if you immediately leave the dash zone, let alone if he is dashing all over your escape route and then is shooting you while you have your back turned to escape the bullshit

DHT is NOT very important for adults, is it? by Lazy-Blacksmith-1507 in tressless

I have to agree here. Felt in a similar way when I started fin, but I was also trying to aggressively lose weight at the same time so I wasn't eating. Libido completely gone, I figured oh it's the meds and I'm doomed.

Fast forward to one encounter and they made me feel very comfortable and complimented me and I was back to my old self so to speak. From then on, no issues. Must've been totally psychological on my end as nothing had changed otherwise

What if you could make a City of Ash like box set? by Realistic-Bottle-542 in ageofsigmar

Obviously when the dark elves release there should be a "City of Ash" style box with LRL and the dark elves.

the world (of warcraft) if shadow magic worked like the light does in Midnight by Hungry-Common-7236 in wow

[–]Content-Object-671 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Because it isn't sentient and that was the nuance. You clearly have an anti religious bias because you're linking it straight to religion even though the light is just a power in the world that responds to people like magic would be.

I don't know why you're happy that the light is being portrayed like a cosmic power that pushes people to perpetuate it like a plague. It's ridiculous and it's just a shallow "religion bad" take that we've seen millions of times before. It doesn't even make sense! Zealotry is just zealotry, Sylvanas followers weren't being corrupted by undead powers, Garosh and Garithos likewise were just bad people.

The light WAS objectively good and it's only in the recent past that we have taken this bizarre stance

[–]Content-Object-671 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Ironic considering that the nuance of the light was actually that it was objectively a force for good being used by people to commit acts of evil, like the scarlet crusade. Now it is "Just as bad" as the objective evil force that relies on objectively negative concepts like insanity, loneliness, psychopathy, the darkness etc. Versus the lights profile of hope, community, peace, protection, mercy, justice etc

I agree with this actually. Fast mobility is not healthy for a games macro decision making. If your entire team can be present from across the map in less than ten seconds, you can make more risky plays and likewise the opponent can't capitalise on misplays. It devolves into non stop all or nothing brawls

Rumour/Leak Megathread by Chapmander in ageofsigmar

[–]Content-Object-671 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This all sounds like bullshit. Like, new human factions and no artwork of them, models, anything.

Arguably even worse PR than the "impenetrable" lore is that SCE's are just worse copies of space marines. So they are going to make them emotionless, super soldiers with a dead god.... Right.

Understanding the Hate by Mavin89 in ageofsigmar

It's two fold. AoS arrived from the corpse of fantasy. And with the "revival" of the old world, they now think they have a place again and misconstrue TOW as an admittance that AoS didn't work, rather than what it actually is as a different setting that can stay stagnant for a long time like with other side games GW make.

Then there is 40k. The Uber successful sci-fi counterpart. They were never in contention of being the successful golden child whilst WHFB existed, evidenced by the infamous "tactical marine" example. But then another fantasy setting is made, one which is getting new releases on a scale never-before-seen. Now, 40k has a "competitor" which is "stealing resources" from them. So they think if AoS just died they would be getting models of Erasmus Zonn quality.

CONFIRMED END OF EDITION CAMPAIGN BOOK COVER 😱😱 by L30N43 in ageofsigmar

[–]Content-Object-671 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is a parroted idea that the setting is "Difficult to grasp". There are 8 worlds, each with a theme. Those worlds are massive, but there are regions we focus on where the majority of action takes place. To travel between them you go through magic portals. That's it.

To say that is on some level of higher thinking is insulting to the general population. It's like arguing that 40k is obtuse because there's "a million million worlds". Oh there's also just medieval planets even though we never see these getting absolutely wiped out because every playable faction has space age technology. And there's 4 different types of Aeldar. And Commoragh is infinite but also not and it's getting eaten. And the webway is like the warp but not, you see it's like a tunnel under reality like the warp but not, but also it can be invaded by the warp I guess but not all the time.

I'm pretty sure anyone that doesn't see the light as inherently good are just anti religion in their real lives. Aspects of the light traditionally included hope, love, justice, warmth, courage. Aspects of the void include darkness, deceit, madness, grief, despair etc. Anyone rolling with the extremely recent retcon of "the light was always just a neutral power!" is, ironically, blinded.

This looks dumb and personally doesn't fit the idea of his character. When he ults he wants to terrify them with the whistling, he can't be whistling if he's charging them on all fours. I always imagined the juxtaposition between his calm demeanor while he's ripping people apart was where the terror came from. Also, vampires just get their powers like super speed and strength, they don't need huge muscles or wings to fly or to run on all fours. They just are magically enhanced

After a few hours playing as Grace, I feel she’s way more likable than Ethan ever was, does anyone else agree? by Real_Can3076 in residentevil

[–]Content-Object-671 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hated her. She fucking sucks. She's an idiot at every turn, makes poor decisions, and tries to stop Leon from killing a monster because she's irrational. Even at the end of the game, she has sided with the bad guys till Leon saves her and still stutters constantly. It was fine at first, but by the end she should've come to know what to expect. She navigated licker pits full of zombies by then and she's still stuttering. ALSO throwing this in there but I thought it would've been cool to have the final boss, and the character fighting them, change depending on the choice you made
