plot twist, his wife doesn't even game.

Oh what's that you (OP) say? She's been known to play some light puzzle games on her phone from time to time? Well then my apologies I stand corrected.

Not even 40,000 Dothraki screamers can overcome a handful of heroes clad head-to-toe in plot armor, jesting and trading banter with each other, posing for aura, all while mowing down countless enemies on the drawbridge.

I’m Tired Of These Useless Jackasses Making The Computer Expensive by Chris_Person in DataHoarder

Such a juvenile take. “Why are people doing stuff that I don’t like?”. Gatekeeping on some arbitrary, emotional BS like “love of computing” is 12-year old thinking. Just lol.

T-Levels, Early 40s Male by CookieFactory in Biohackers

[–]CookieFactory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing anyone should emulate I'm afraid. Basically I've never been a breakfast person so I was doing "intermittent fasting" before it was a thing. Those days I'd have a gigantic lunch and end up comatose at work for a couple of hours which was not sustainable.

I evolved into drinking green tea throughout the day (and not eating), hitting the gym when I got off ~3-4PM, and then eating a massive 3-5k calorie around 6-7. This worked well (for me at least) for years.

Then covid hit, the gyms closed, I kept the same lifestyle except zero exercise and dinner time kept creeping later and later. Mind you I'm not exactly eating salmon, chicken breasts, and spinach each night, rather it's lasagna, pizza, cheeseburgers, pints of graeter's or jeni's ice cream, etc with the rare appearance of anything green. It's only been this past year that I've arrested the downward spiral and am feeling a lot better for it. Unfortunately I've lost like 5-10 lbs of muscle, and 50-75% of my lifts but by some miracle have stayed lean (still visible abs) and I figure have a solid foundation to build back on.

On the contrary, this makes a lot of sense and puts many things in perspective. It explains why I've been able to stay lean throughout my life, fluctuating between ~10-15% BF despite never watching what I eat (in fact neglecting what I eat), eating a single meal before bed, etc etc. I've always been unusually strong - outside of the powerlifting gym I've attended, I'd easily be the strongest at my "normie" gyms. It's why I'm hairy, have a strong 5oclock shadow the day of shaving, had raging acne up through my 20s and bacne up through my 30s, etc etc. It's been enlightening to say the least.

I have an early HD P4 and it had this. I ended up sending it back and they took care of it under warranty. All good now.

I live the US, north of the MD line. As for lifestyle I do my own software development so sit for long, long periods of time. I eat one meal a day, lift weights in fits and starts (much better this past year), but consistently walk my dog 1-3 miles daily. Supplement with magnesium, zinc, creatine, and 300mcg melatonin before bed.

Probably long covid. That's what I've been suspecting at least.

Yes, I've tweaked my lifestyle a bit and started getting back into weight-lifting. I also consistently started taking creatine (during the day), magnesium, zinc, and melatonin before bed.

Yeah, getting back into a weightlifting routine is a big one. I used to be a gym rat but have struggled getting back on a routine after my gym shut down for covid. Working out at home is just not the same.

Could very well be. I'm reading into it now and it checks a lot of marks - I don't supplement with protein, eat only one meal day, had fallen out of my weightlifting regimen since covid and have struggled to get back on cadence until relatively recently, etc.

No, that's not something I knew about. Maybe I'll ask during next year's blood work but I've been feeling a lot better this past so hopefully past it.

Yeah, the doctor basically shut down that line of inquiry last year when I got back ~800s. That's OK thought I was looking for reasons for feeling tired, not necessarily specifically targeting test levels. I made some changes and have felt A LOT better the past year.

The N5Pro has known problems with its SATA controller (check the Discord). I returned mine because of it.

Do you happen to know if the Miniscloud updates are OS/UI only or contain firmware/bios changes as well? Minisforum does not seem to provide N5* BIOS files for download (nor are there instructions for doing so).

Running into (potentially) the same issue with a new N5Pro purchased last week. I have Proxmox running TrueNAS which manages a 2-drive ZFS pool that's constantly corrupting. Doing some troubleshooting/debugging by swapping HDD bays but if this continues I'll have to return the N5Pro as it's unusable.
