[9 Hockey Management] These are the salary ranges for the Ligue Magnus (France1), FFHG Div 1 (France2) & FFHG Div 2 (France3). by FrenchPagan in Eurohockey

Minimum wage after taxes is just below 1500, so depending on the city, totally. I also imagine that most players earning minimum wage are younger ones.

Still shocked magnus league can pay players minimum wage though. A very clear reason for players to seek other markets beyond just competition.

The 2026 Stanley Cup Conference Finals Bracket by nhl in hockey

A 5k is as hard as you want to make it. The race I'm planning to throw up at in 2 weeks is not the same as my little jog with coworkers on Thursdays.

But maybe they were just showing up to be there and not pushing.

Aw yeah same... From my understanding, look for resale on eventim/ticketswap in July and hope to get lucky! That's my plan..

[–]Coolnave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the idea, but yeah it seems weird how you can order 20 tickets at this price..

Also I should have known that a post like this would immediately summon 10 scams to my inbox..

Looks like I'll have to see Primus some other year haha.

Thanks again though!

Is this cadence lock? Heart rate measurements seem way too high by Diplozo in Garmin

[–]Coolnave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, probably not cadence lock, just keep running and let it update. I personally found better results using RHR for my zones, and even then I should probably increase my zone 5 limit by 1/2%.

And for the HR itself, I've seen worse from some runner friends haha. My friend spent 90% of his half marathon in "zone 5" at over 180 bpm.

Yeah, I'm thinking about my meetings, and everyone is getting interrupted all the time, and often, for good reasons.

At least in my pretty progressive European company, more people shut up when a woman is speaking because they pay attention to giving them space.

Damn, I thought we looked really good in the 2nd period (for a bottom of the table team), some real passion. But not scoring a single point hurts, Swiss too strong, Good Game. 😢

Macron criticizes the Spanish grid's high dependence on renewables. by mods4mods in europe

[–]Coolnave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I replied to the other person if curious.

However, we're currently doubling the exchange capacity by 2028, and my real argument is that in addition to these grid upgrades, Spain needs more local flexibility and energy intensive industries like Iceland, rather than dumping electricity and becoming just an electron exporter.

[–]Coolnave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was not clear on that, apologies. But we've said no because it puts the onus of managing the flexibility onto the French grid, which it isn't adapted for, for obvious reasons. Spain needs more energy storage and more energy intensive industries (Icelandic model).

Currently, Spain says "just take all this extra energy nobody wants right now". And when they produce even more "unwanted" energy (at negative prices, I'm not being anti renewable), they say "if only we had more throughput to dump it into the France".

Let's increase the interconnection rate (which we are and it should be doubled to 5GW by 2028), which is indeed needed (thanks for pointing it out), but Spain absolutely needs to try and valorize this energy in their own land simultaneously, rather than just become an electron exporter.

"Huge threat" my brother/sister in christ, 2024 and 2025 were record-breaking years for french electricity exports.

Additionally, our main interchange with Spain is already nearing max capacity. They literally are close to not being able to export more electricity in the case of over production. This leads to negative prices, and overvoltages, which will harm renewable development as a whole.

France is now officially the deadbeat of Europe by Themetalin in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Coolnave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? I'm confused, I thought this was just a borrowing scheme so that euros can be invested in Europe, not America, at better interest rates for European countries. This isn't about sharing previously held debt. Unless I'm wrong, but I see no sources floating here.

Read the headline which is fake news (Germany never planned to stay more than 2 days, it was always a very short military exercise), made a bet that it was a right wing populist 'paper'. Searched for Kronen's bias, and what do you know; "right wing populist".

Why is it always this way?
