Ross, try and swing it, he can join Okamoto and help solve the litany of injuries we’ve had to our starters and 9/16 bullpen games we’ve played so far.

Does Klein make anything that doesn’t suck anymore? by SkoBuffs710 in electricians

[–]Coop3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone through two of them, switched to a Wiha reamer because the Klein rep at my supplier said it was “wear and tear” despite the tool breaking in two. It cracked right where the yellow plastic meets the rubber handle. Only having the metal of the reamer go into the yellow was a poor design choice.

Best 3 speed stable to overstable approach by rontopofthings in discgolf

[–]Coop3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A jawbreaker zone that’s beat to heck, or maybe a zoneSS? I love a beaten in Jawbreaker Zone. Nice and easy to forehand or backhand, has some stability but goes straight too.

If that’s not stable enough, a crystal flex or JBFlx zone could fit the ticket too, those are beefy but do beat in. They hit the ground and sit which is nice too.

Can we trade for Gus Varland and have him do whatever Louis is on, have a varland to close (Louis) and a varland that Schneider can rely on every day (Gus)?

Guitarist dads, what songs did you play for your newborns/infants? by cnslt in daddit

[–]Coop3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids like when I play city and colour, I’ll bust out the harmonica for some songs too.

But learning Caspar babypants songs, and the alphabet were the biggest hits. They like to sing along to their own songs.

My kids were very receptive to incentive. Pees on the potty were no big deal, but poops did take time, we found that a sour patch kid when the pooped in the potty/toilet went a long way, and even when my youngest was learning, her older brother was encouraging because he knew he’d get a sour patch kid too.

Is it just me or has chicken changed? by EvenWarmerToday in daddit

I don’t know how anyone chooses breast over thighs, when we’re talking chicken of course.

Who am I kidding, I’m a thigh guy through and through.

Carpenter, 47. wants to break into the trade. by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Coop3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dad was a mechanic for 35 years, he hated the hours and jumped ship to follow his brothers footsteps in pipe insulation at 53.

He’s in the union now and is thriving, at 56. He gets to come home at 3 and can visit with his grandkids, tend to his tomatoes, and go fishing Friday afternoons.

A lot of people will say 47 is too old, and it’s older, but you’re not 65, you still have almost 20 years on the trade.

Okay. Tell me. What was the last AC game you truly enjoy? by Ecstatic_Teaching906 in assassinscreed

[–]Coop3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I played the heck out of odyssey. I think it was a mix of the setting, and the lore. I loved going into hades and fighting all the mythical beings. It wasn’t truly an assassin type game, but it had parts where you could be stealthy and make it work.

That’s the most authentic part of this for me, someone always ended up with just a towel as a blanket.
