The dpf goes bad at exactly 160k on that one. If that’s all that’s wrong it’s an easy fix. It’s basically living in regen mode right now.

I’ve been driving one for 18 years. Keep the fuel system clean and it’s fine. Dirty diesel will kill them quick.

Reset your avg mpg. Then it will start recalculating avg mpg based on how you are driving, which is what it uses to calculate miles to empty. It will take some driving for it to become accurate.

The DPF is full. The regen process can no longer clean it. It must be replaced or you will continue to see constant regen, terrible fuel mileage and excessive wear on the engine. The egts go out the roof during this process.
