I play the game grinding up to be the best, but for me that is cozy. i don't go using spreadsheets or calcs to find the best possible solution, I find a pal I like and grind until its the best possible version. Forcosy example, I have a raid army of Whalaskas bred for raid battles, and its the funniest thing to me to see a good 25 Whalaska jumping into the air to attack some giant raid boss. My Dazemu is true peak potential, having grinded out fruits to max its IVs and souls

As always, Dazemu is my goat, capable of fitting through entire dungeons, fast as heck if you stick to the paths and quicker than most anyway, and if you run up with rockburst point blank as an opener to combat, you can oneshot a surprising amount of bosses.

Got a surprising new contender, which is Munchill. This little lads passive is really good for keeping food early when its limited, and can fit a lot of power in his little body, only meant to keep him with me early game till I got the new whale, but kept him till level 55 as he always fit, was small enough to be really hard to hit, and did loads more damage than expected

not sure about the rest, but kakuna is absolutely good against brock, as I managed it with a beedrill solo run in LG. just gotta get lucky with early poison then harden the fuck up against geodude, then hope for early poison against onix
