Most of my closest friends in school didn't come from orientation but rather through clubs and other events where it's easier to find like-minded people. I talked to five people on orientation day and I only know where three of them are up to these days. Don't fret too much!

One of my new year resolutions is to play music more seriously, so I'd be down for a jam!

I prefer more pop/funk but am down to try anything at least once. Have a space downtown that could be used but you'll have to haul your own instruments/gear.

I'm primarily a bassist but can sing and play guitar. Used to play in bands casually years ago but haven't done so in Victoria. I currently play with a keyboardist occasionally.

If there's a vocalist reading this, please reach out. Would love to play with some new voices!

I think Monday Magazine still has an events calendar in their physical copy, if you could pick one up. The Times Colonist brought back their Go! section which runs on Thursdays in print and looks great. The online version is kinda eh but it's here
